You can now add Louth to the counties where Liam Hayes has stuck the knife in, after his The Last Word performance this evening, and people wonder why he has no respect in Kerry amounst other places.

If he was from Cork he'd be a langer. Maybe a Nobber is the right term for him.

Its noticeable on the airwaves and in the media that a lot of Meath people are sticking the knife into Louth now. Its getting unsavoury. Buidling each other up to be The Cheats v The Thugs. Makes a replay seem not such a good idea.

What did he say that caused offence Mike?

But Cooper said there was loads of texts flying in about him alright.

....another installment of Liam Hayes obsession with getting a dig in at Kerry and/or JOC

Can someone from Meath cast some light on what exactly is his problem with us ? Its not as if we had much dealings with him throughout the years ?

Not really, though I'd advance the incompetence theory. It usually trumps the conspiracy theory.

In other words, Hayes doesn't seem to have the sense he was born with.

AZOffaly

Lads, I don't think it's that complicated.

What does Hayes do? Writes for a paper.

What is the best way of selling papers, if you can't write well? Write controversially

What is the best target for controversial views? The most successful team/The most popular idea.

What's the most successful team? Kerry.

Definitely seems to be attacking O'Connor personally. That being said Mike I've great time for Jack as a manager but he has came across poorly in the media since the Down match. Sour grapes.... conspiracy shite.... irrelevant complaints about where the ref was from etc. That and under him there has be indiscipline issues that are untypical of Kerry. Dunno....he sounds like a manager that's burnt out. Hope he goes back to the drawing board and stays on though. His teams have produced some tremendous football in recent years. Maybe he's  a bad loser becuase he's a winner and that's how he keeps his edge.

Here is a comment on the article from a member of the public who posted it on that site :

Jack O connor won 3 All Irelands (in five years),3 national leagues,3 munsters,an U-21 all ireland, a hogan cup and 3 vocational schools as a manager. Theres not many, not even a former carlow manager, are qualified to question Jacks overall leadership abilities. He's not without his faults, but to devote an entire article to lambasting Jack O Connor smacks of petty childishness.
