I'd like to do jury duty . . .

So would I, except I can't over here

David McKeown

I used to feel the same way about wanting to do it, but having seen so many trials recently in which nothing actually happens I couldnt see it being anything other than a very boring and very tiring experience.

Squareball, unfortunately from what ive seen recently, theres rarely wee cut and dried ones so you might be a while

Oh yes there is. was there this morning, I was to be at the Coroner's court, after everyone was excused it was names in a hat for the 9 jurors, mine didn't come out so i was dismissed and dont have to go back, the inquest would have lasted no longer than two days non of your messing about ringing every night and all that

Got a letter this week about jury service for september, but it didn't come to my new address - it was sent to my parents house.

Do you think i could just ignore it & claim i never got it?

Havn't read through it properly but i know there is a fine if you don't return the form...

I got that letter too,as did at least five others in my work.

Will anyone notice the difference with 6 civil servants off "work"?

Minder

I see your place is employing up to a 100 more staff,is that to make up for the shortfall in productivity when you are sitting on the internet all day?
