So that's where Kieran Dyer ended up and on £70K a week to boot, mad money for some useless tools..

Norf Tyrone

There best players (Collinson and Noble) are relativelly poor paid. Especially Noble.

What about the goalkeepers!!!!!!!!!! Over ¼ million and 156,000 a year salary for doing absolutely nothing of note.......what a life, not a bit of stress of even playing in a big prem game, sit on yer hole and lift 5 and 3 grand a week!!!  The world is an unfair place, how the hell do clubs afford this, no way you could be making that sort of income to cover these wages alone, never mind all the other staff in the offices, groundsmen, stadium repairs and maintenance.
Beer, now there's a temporary solution!!!

Saw these figures on several forums yesterday, have they been verified as being correct cause some of the numbers seemed crazy to me. Boa Morte and Kieran Dyer both on 70k a week???, Danny Gabbidon on 50k?? Did have a chuckle at Mido only getting £1000 a week though but I think he comes from some mega rich family anyway so money hardly an issue.

You could be correct that that's his total wage but he's on loan there. Depending on what the loan arrangement is his actual owner (not sure who that is) could be paying the remainder of his salary. I'd imagine the £1000 is only the cost to West Ham.

Isn't his owner an Egyptian team? £1,000 sounds about right.

I'm not sure why people are surprised at these salarys - interesting that they clearly have a £70k wage cap. Smaller EPL clubs are paying mental money to stay in that league and the bubble is going to burst

I think Middlesbrough still own him, was only in Egypt on loan.

Capt Pat

The bottom team in the premier league gets 35 million. They can easily afford those wages. That is before you take in ticket money and sponsorship deals. I would like to see the old Portsmouth wage bill.

Yeah they're loaded. He was once asked in one of those questions and answers yokes about what he would have been if he wasn't a footballer and he replied nothing, that his family were so rich that he didn't need to work!

I stand corrected. Is he even worth a grand a week at this stage? His career has nosedived since he got his move to Roma and was found out.

Just shows once you get into that loop there are always clubs who will take you on.

From that article about Mido

'Sullivan added: "We simply can't afford Robbie Keane. Of course, we'd have liked him, who wouldn't? But it would have worked out at £105,000 a week for the rest of this season, as well as a transfer fee. We simply cannot afford it.'

Robbie has certainly done well for himself ;D
