A RUBI - Random Unexplained Beer Injury.

We've all had savage nights out on the beer, many good times that will long be remembered. However, every so often there are those bad nights when the haze of alcoholic euphoria lifts and leaves you with an injury that for the life of you can't explain or work out.

One of my own RUBI experiences was gaining some degree of sobriety in an emergency ward in Liverpool with a doctor trying to put my shoulder in place after it had been dislocated. This was definitely a situation when the effect of the beer lifted extremely quickly. After the sixth attempt the whore of a thing went back into place and the investigation begun into how I ended up in this most unpleasent of situations. To this day all that I have been able to put together is I parted from mates at closing time and then I ended up in casulty.
