23 scores is a decent return for Dublin against the Cats, was fearful after there expliots last year that they could be overwhelmed in a few games this year, and though loses to Offaly and an understrength Galway would be a concern, beating Tipp and a credible performance against KK will put them in good stead. lucky in many ways that relegation is not going to be an issue for ayone this year given the soap opera in limerick

Good game between Waterfod & Cork, Cussen looks a BIG threat.

Antrim put in a credible show against Clare but out of contention for final place which perhaps has laois as favourites to meet clare in the final given wexfords woes in Dr Cullen Park.  Fair play indeed to Carlow, making great strides in hurling, the loss to Antrim may deny them a final berth

eslewhere a great result for Armagh, a realistic ambition is too become the third best team in Ulster now and take it from there come championship

The Cork Waterford game wasn't as good as it seems. Cork were shocking. Our accuracy was shocking, we'll be slaughtered in the Championship if we don't put those points over the bar.
We threw away the game, we were well up and just totally lost the plot. The defence was just odd, ya Shane O Neill was eventually in the right position, but good lord I think we've learned what not to experiment with now.

On the plus side a few lads had great games, Naughton I honestly believe could out run anyone and everyone, the speed on him is ridiculous, and he seems to be able to look for, find and use the space.
And obviously Cussen. 2 goals from him, a smart head, and he caught a ball in the air, feckin hell like that's a first for Cork hurlers for a while.

There wasn't much intensity and our accuracy was shambolic. But unbeaten still, not bad.

Cork should have hammered waterford yesterday the way things were going after 20 mins. They were in total control of possession but squandered alot of good chances early on.

Have to say though as affective as it is for cork, that running possession game does my head in.

Some good performances from the younger players

Result of yesterday had to be Carlow beating Wexfod by 3 pts. Was well deserved too as we hit 15 wides to their 6.
Shows how far we have improved, but also shows how far Wexford have fallen.

Only regret I have from this league so far is the draw we should have got in Antrim despite playing crap by all accounts that day. Ref did us out of getting a point, and that could cost us promotion in the end :(

I've always thought Naughton maybe runs too far with the ball and a few times into the corner any time I've seen him for Newtown and the few league run outs he got, even that soft free he won on Sunday near the end, he couldn't get away from Kearney (I think) and almost ended up over the side line before being awarded the free for something I didn't see.

Ya, great for them, they did very well. On the other hand, and as good as it is for Carlow, what the hell has happened to Wexford  hurling.
Very good for Carlow hurling and hurling in general.

True, his legs tend to be a few seconds ahead of his brain at times, that has improved greatly this season, especially with experience he's gaining all the time. But in fairness now he's improved a lot and on a very positive notes our young lads who start are doing very well, which is what we needed to see in the League.

Great win for Galway against the cats. With the footbballers winning against the dubs a good weekend for the county and a nice change from a few weeks ago with the losses to Tipp and Kerry.

Kilkennys third league defeat of the year. Does not happen too often.
