An Laoch

Just in case you were living under a rock and missed the relentless media bombast about this tournament - it started today!

Not a preview, not a supplement, not a thread, not a thing!

A photoshoot looks about the extent the GAA media has gone to promote one of the best competitions in the sport.

Rant over.

3 games this afternoon anyway.

Ulster Bank HE Sigerson Cup First Round: (Games at 2.0 unless stated):

UCC v DIT, Mardyke;

UL v IT Carlow, Limerick;

St Mary's Belfast v MICL, St Loman's, Mullingar.

Any chance someone could keep us updated on these games?

Who is running the GAA marketing department?

Is there a GAA marketing department?

There was a bit of a "do" yesterday in Croke Park to launch it I think. Diarmuid Connolly of Dublin and DIT was there, he is an apprentice electrician and qualifies as a "part time student". Go figure.
"When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us"

St Mary's won well, 1-13 to 0-4
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

All at it- lads up the north doing masters degrees they never attend. the Sigerson cup has been reduced to a farce at this stage in my view.

I think we need a few NCAA investigators over from the States to look into it for us!
