Crokes will kick themselves when they look back at this one.

Should have left a far from vintage Cross team in thier wake, but as always Cross, by hook or by crook (and some very dubious refereeing) get the job done.

Ref was a spa. Stole a point off Cross with the HT whistle. 3 nonsense sending offs too. Diving cnuts on both sides though. Cross did well around the middle toward the end and Clarke caused a lot of problems, so not so sure Crokes would've done it without the spa ref. Another AI medal would be a fitting end to McConville's career.

I thought the first two sendings off were justified. The first booking for the crokes no 3 was after an awful tackle on a man running clean through the second was a high tackle that left a player bleeding from the mouth.

The second to me looked to be a kick out a man running past.

That said I did think the ref wasn't great
