Bud, I wasn't aware that we ever disagreed on this core point, that funds should be used prudently at all times and not risked on reckless gambles. You may as well go to Paddy Powers than invest in bonds.

Another point, apart from Croke Park itself, is any other GAA unit (County Board, Club etc) that flush with cash at any given time that they have any excess funds to invest anywhere?

Ballyboden down the road must have more assets than Croke Park for jaysus sake.  If the GAA had given every club in ulster a share of the 1.6Million along with 250,000 spending money that they gave to the GPA every club would have a few bob to invest and Ulster would not have just one competitive team in hurling.  Of course like the Meath men when ye boys in Armagh want money ye just go for a run on the JCB and bring back the banklink machine. :)

Thats coming  an end. Some lig from the SDLP on the radio this morning wants dye placed in ATMs ....which will only go off when they're stolen of course ::)
