There was no need for the Irish players to keep shouting at him after every penalty.
To me that showed a team that was easily thrown off focus.

They only let him have it after first scoring their penalties. They all kept remarkable composure before their kicks while the Canadian goalie goaded them. The 9 out of 10 penalties scored were top drawer penalties, even the missed was well placed and Canadian goalie pulled off a good save in fairness. But it was classless behaviour by the Canadians and appeared very calculated. Next up for Ireland are the Swiss and based on their results so far (3-1 victory over a Mexican side that knocked out Argentina), this will be a step up.

Doesn't really affect ireland that much but that's a shit rule brought in by FIFA with goal difference deciding who finishes above who.
Almost sure it used to be head to head
Looking at the groups, 4 of the groups could yet to be decided but because they're goal difference they are done and dusted.
I'd imagine that's to make sure the bigger teams make it

Agree, they looked like knackers doing it.

Poor defending. Took a step back and then turned his back.

Slack defending  there. Just stood off him

cant see Ireland  getting two goals now
