Aussies look like they're already on the plane home. No interest.

Sweet Caroline blasting out!
Time to shut down the Aviva.  :o

weareros

Easy see how Italy beat that Aussie team. Not Campese's Australia.

Looks even stranger now to take on NZ away in the first game in 6/7months, instead building up to them and South Africa into the 3rd or 4th game.

That's some performance compared to the shambolic first half against Japan last week. Shame the first match was against NZ when they were misfiring as today England showed the all blacks aren't great

Predergast was good tonight. Put a lot of doubts to bed.

Write boys

Aye Prendergast was very good, Caelan Doris was good I thought. Hansen mom obviously but Gibson Park must be the best scrum half  we ve  ever had. No offence

Did he put doubts to bed? It was a standard Prendergast performance. Good in attack but a complete liability defensively. It's not a physical thing in that if he puts on a few kg he'll be grand. He has no desire or want to put in a tackle and that's the problem. SA will take no prisoners with him next week.

Yes he missed a fairly standard tackle on the touchline at one stage. I prefer Crowley so will be interesting to see who Farrell prefers.

England are a worry. Building a seriously deep squad with multiple options in key positions.

Lad 6ft 2 and cant tackle. Rugby the 1 sport u taught to tackle and tackle hard. From the 6 nations to now surely he been doing tackling drills at Leinster. When a team knows u don't want to tackle they tend to start going down u lane all the time.

BigGreenField

His attacking was great, his defence awful. Unless Farrell is taking the old fashioned view that his 10 doesn't need to get his shirt dirty and the back row can cover it, pretty tough to do in a modern 15 man game.

Ireland do need fresh blood at centre from
somewhere, Australia poor and should have been put to the sword much easier than they were, Skelton not being there (although he's aging as well) robs them of a huge weapon.

Hansen the stand out, Park not far behind (after a wobbly season to date)
and Obrien effective, one comedy great moment when Furlong made a lunging, sliding catch and laid off, real wave for the cameras moment.

I think time is up for Lowe as a starter.
