I get very frustrated when people squeeze what is acceptable in society to the very limits! I know where and when to draw the line as to what to say and dont need a faceless internet poster to tut tut when a comment is made! I am firmly of the opinion that it is these strictly pc people who cause the problems - make every comment seem like its offensive, then highten tensions as everyone is afraid to open their mouths! There is nothing worse than people taking offence on someone elses behalf!

Now the nanny state is trying to take over the GAA Discussion board. Members have spent an entire thread saying what a bollix they think that Paddy Heaney is and it appears that's ok because, to the best of our knowledge, he is a straight guy ...... (Paddy feel free to "out" yourself when you read this post either on the board or in next week's column if I need to be corrected ..... as Donal's dad can get you fixed!!!!!) but if we mention bollix and Donal Og in the same sentence then it's out of order and homophobic.
