I have watched the SPANISH speaking channels here in the states from South America, Mexico, Central America and have heard actresses and Penelope Cruz (Spain) speak and I guarantee you can not tell the difference between any of them.

I actually think the SA and Aussie accent are very similar.

I always thought the South African one was a fair bit rougher than the Aussie one.

NOT = Kerry!!

Has anybody else noticed that when you speak to a person from Kerry, they normall have to say the word "Kerry" at least twice in every sentence.

Oh sure tis different down in kerry.......Kerry, the only place to be from in Ireland. I was in Dublin yesterday,Kerry, and i bought a football, kerry, because we love football down in Kerry, I'm from Kerry by th way...Kerry....Diswashers....Kerry....TCP....Kerry!!!

I think this is suited for the Grinds my gears thread as well.....

Can't believe this thread is two pages long and nobody has mentioned Cheryl Cole's Geordie accent........

I prefer no accent as it's better when they say nothing at all and i suppose if they start to talk you could always stick something in their gub to keep them quiet...(and don't be thinking of anything vulgar)

All of a America and Canada or just parts?
Have you heard the American accent across the country?

Thats like saying I don't like the European accent.......  ::)

How many American accents are there? All I can think off is New York, Cailfornian, Southern, Tennessee (country) and Texan. Probably haven't spent long enough or visited enough areas to know any more
