P Power had the following:
Dunloy 10/11
Cushendall 11/5
Loughgiel 11/2
St John's 6/1
Rossa 14/1
Ballycastle 20/1
Carey & St Enda's 100/1

I think there is a bit of give or take for the top 2 but would the next 4 not be a bit more even across each other?
With St John's, then maybe Loughgiel, Rossa and Ballycastle.
Rossa won league and Ballycastle look to have improved on the last few years.

Na Glinntí Glasa

Id still feel that Cushendall have a slight edge on us at the moment going by this past few seasons. Last year we didnt play well and i was surprised that we brought the game back as close in the final as i felt we were in bother at half time.

Cushendall are a well oiled machine where as we have been a bit indifferent this year with no real set out team all season.

Rossa and Ballycastle are a dark horses to watch imo. they wont be easy beaten.

Two of the four U-21 quarter finals conceded. What's the point ?
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

I know some clubs struggle with the time it's played. Loads on holidays.

Na Glinntí Glasa

I don't accept that as an excuse at this level. The dates were known for some time within clubs of the championship.

Its no coincidence the two clubs that conceded had to travel from Belfast to north Antrim clubs on a Monday night so most likely didn't fancy it and decided to pull out.

Theres no perfect time to play U21 championship but a bit of consistency of when its held each year would help bring some sort of balance to it.

Any body get to the big meeting on Tuesday night to solve all the hurling issues in Antrim?

Literally couldn't write it, that they would think it suitable to hold it mid-season on one of the most popular match/  training nights  :-X

Was it even advertised? Nothing via county social media.

Intermediate & Junior championships first round in the books.

Glenariffe & Cushendun probably the tie of the weekend and Glenariffe seemed to handle them easily enough in Cushendun, they had 3 goals in the first 15 mins.

Creggan with an easier win that I would have expected in St Paul's.

Ahoghill hammered Sarsfields, who seem to be away to hell in the hurling.

Early days but probably between Ahoghill & Glenariffe you would think for the Intermediate.

Glenariffe have played well this year and are the team to be beat.

With the success at underage level over the years through the amalgamation with Glenravel they have been able to bring on some really good young players into the squad.

I thought they would of won it last year against Carey but they didnt play well on the day.

Round or stuffed

who are favourites for the junior?

I would say Glenravel if they go at it seriously with Armoy not far behind

is there relegation from intermediate?

There probably will be but could going to 12 teams be an idea?  With that 6 team group and matches every 2 weeks its nearly  2 months for the group stage. 3 groups of 4 be better?

Only match i got to this weekend was Cushendun vs Glenariffe. Glenariffe were excellent in the first half but had a poor 20 mins or so second half which let Cushendun right back into it but they got themselves regrouped and over the line.
