They don't really have the depth though.

Have to credit sn. They are some team.

Bollocks. Best team by a good bit won tbf.

Extra time and those boys wouldn't have too many minutes in them anyway. They were there to nab the goal at the end of regular time which McManus went and took care of anyway. SN thoroughly deserving. Take McManus out of the Dall team and it'd have been a bit of a tanking you feel.

Yea some strange calls alright.  Shows a lack of depth in the squad or a lack of trust by the management.

Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

I've watched S'neil over many years in Ulster and in their semi finals, always impressed by them considering the actual lack of hurling they really do over the year, in comparison to a single code club and lesser league.

Top notch
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

I don't say they were strange !  I think they were good calls to be honest

Brilliant game of hurling tonight. Entertaining from start to finish. Ref just let it go big time! Great stuff to watch. Slaughtneil a quality team and extremely fit. Without McManus Cdall would of been well beaten. That goal at the end.. similar to portaferry last year.. still a great hurler. Would like to see Slaughtneil go the whole way and win an AI club. Been to alot of their games the past few years and they are brilliant. A brilliant hurling team and the youth they have coming through also seem well able to cope at this level. Looking forward to Ulster Final v Pferry. Davy will have the cushendall boys at his disposal in December now!!

Bar mcmanus that would of been a 10 point hammering. Couldn't believe slaughtneil kept the no3 on him for so long. Cdall haven't the depth but making the subs and taking mcmanus away from the edge of the square hurt them.

Young fionn mceldowney would of got motm for me.

imtommygunn

Yeah I couldn't understand why they took him out of the square. Possibly to accommodate delargy but it wasn't working. Wonder how many years he has left in him.

Can't see portaferry living with sn.

Saffrongael

I definitely wouldn't rule out Portaferry

I wouldn't rule out Portaferry either. But think Slaughtneil will have too much for them this year - just a gut feeling.

Will Davy be trying to get Neil back in the county jersey? Clearly still one of the best we have

Kidder81

What was the Cushendall mentor at when the teams went in at end of normal time? Jumped up and tried to hit a supporter

Portaferry will be the bigger test for them.

No longer the team they were. You're right, they're better. You boys haven't a clue
