I think O'Neill will get the job for another year. Just to steady the ship so to speak.

The real issue is that the Board haven't even the ability to plan ahead in terms of looking for a new manager. They are totally incompetent...totally incompetent.

Easy option is to appoint O'Neill for another year so the Board can kick the can down the road.

As somebody else alluded to above, O'Neill, in recent interviews, has to try and change the narrative re: decisions etc. going Celtic's way. The Board are totally useless in this repect.

One of the things that shouldn't be forgot in all this is the huge support the team got from the stands e.g. The Green Brigade. It got them over the line - moreso than Martin O'Neill at times.

The Board a few months ago would rather issue statements about their behaviour etc. Then when the poo hit the fan, the Board had to let them in again for the final run in. Now when you want them to stand up for Celtic FC, they're nowhere to be seen. Not a statement to be seen. The Board are clowns and should be run from the club.

If O'Neill had amy sense he leave on a high if they do the double. Stress at his age aint worth it.

The thought of Robbie Keane lurking in the shadows gives me the creeps.

I read Yang has gotten a contract ext to 2030, he's done alright since being rescued after stayin' in for days at a  Birmingham hotel.

Agreed, leave on a high. Celtic job is a young man's game.

No real drama today. Dunfermline did their best for a mid table championship side. Glad that Lennon was not humiliated. Great achievement to get to final, but even an average Celtic were always going to have too much.

Hopefully Martin leaves on this incredible high and maintains this addition to his legacy.
Half a season - I'd say has taken its toll on him this season. Next year would be a full season.

Time for the club to move on and away from temporary fixes. And I mean this as no disrespect to MON.

Did anyone hear the final whistle? Will the SFA release the audio  ;)

How the hell did Celtic finish up doing the double 😂😂 Just goes to show how bad the others are. Danny Rhol turned out to be shite when it looked like he had turned the corner with them. I'd still be worried about Hearts next year. Tony Bloom seems to be on a mission with them. Though a club of Celtic's size should still be blowing them all out of the water if things were run correctly.

I definitely don't want another season like that but I can't see how things are going to get better next year unless significant investment is made in the squad. Maeda, Negren and Engels are all probably away. I'd love to know how many goals of Sellics total that is alone. Would love to find a few hidden gems somewhere like Maeda. It's going to be an interesting summer.

Very strong rumours the next manager is the recently unemployed Robbie Keane, but Desmond is also a big fan of Stephen Bradley.

As soon as Yang got a 4 year extension he turns in his shittiest performance ever.
