That doubt alone should prevent a penalty being given. In saying that, they should have had a penalty in the first half when the keeper came flying out.

This.

lol "doubt"?? Do me a favour and hold the back of your hand up right across the front of your forehead for a second. Then have a think about how it could be physically possible to head the ball, with the front of your forehead, without the ball ever touching your hand? 🤣

Quote from: bennydorano on Today at 08:55:08 AMJesus christ lads catch yourselves on, its a debatable point even if it did hit his hand. My first text after the match was - if Rangers got that we'd be screaming blue murder - and so we would. I was more surprised that Brother Beaton gave it and gave it so quickly. It's going to be discussed to death everywhere.

Good to see more than the half dozen regulars on the thread for a change.
Great to see Scottish football being interesting for a change :D.

Don't think it was a foul for the elbow, but the lads hand is on/very close to his head and the ball hits his hand.

Anyway leaves the weekend interesting, the body language of Hearts wasn't great last night but you'd imagine they're capable of getting a draw

think Celtic will now win comfortably on Saturday.

Show me the doubt?

That image is clear cut the only problem is I wouldn't be sure if some tech guys hasnt tweaked it a bit. Anyway still don't understand the hysteria. The big question is what the fook was the defender waving his hand so high up in the penalty area for - it's just asking for trouble. Secondly if this didn't happen then wee Jamie wouldn't be having a stroke on twitter and giving us all a laugh.

I know I shouldn't have, but  I just had a look. Dozens of tweets and retweets,  over a bloody penalty decision. What a bitter,  twisted  f××kwit he is.

At least 2 Rangers supporters on here I think...or wee Seamy in disguise.

Straight out of the blocks talking about it last night.......yet have no interest in Celtic. Lol.

I'm not sure I'm loving their meltdown or wee Seany's the best.

I wouldn't rule Hearts out yet.

I would rule out Hearts They don't have it in them to withstand the pressure and are not used to it. Could be 3-0 down by HT on Saturday.

Have you any strong opinion on the keeper/Maeda incident?

Main Street

I see rabid hun dog Boyd has admitted on second look that Maeda could've been awarded a penalty, but I suppose that's the last we'll hear about that as he slinks back into reality distortion mode.
denying the slam dunk VAR decision of the season

and see the 2 cnts  not competing but just pushing Trusty away from the the ball.

The best part of all this it was the fantastic outcome of Celtic winning and keeping the title race open (and almost equally in their hands) and it shows up the moon-howlers amongst the Celtic supporters who think the whole thing is rigged in spite of ongoing success and achievement.

And of course we won't mention those who think the whole thing is rigged in favour of Celtic. Gawd no.

Maroon Manc

Given the context of the game about as bad a decision you'll ever see. Zero evidence form the camera angle the ref was given to suggests that a pen, it shouldn't have even got far.

Just don't see how the ball would travel that far it its hit a hand, that doesn't make sense.

Still photo's aren't evidence either, been sent so many photo's and not one of them proves anything. If we see more angles that proves its a handball than happy be wrong but given what the ref was shown its an horrific mistake.

As for a lot of ex Celtic & Rangers players there pretty much all as biased as each other although Paul Lambert did offer plenty of sense this morning.
