I have seen Motherwell in better heath than what they showed v Hearts, they deserved the draw for sure but just about deserved it.They were missing hard man Paul McGinn  at centre back and one of their better midfielders lukas Fadinger whose partner was due to give berth. You know what Roy Keane would say about that, I'd say 'woman take your time'.

Monaghan will not be easy beat and it'll not be the first time they sent us home packing with the tail betwen the legs.

Yeah, watched Motherwell v Hearts last Monday nite and thought they were not great and we have a good chance. Myself included here but there'll be some disappointed boys on Wednesday nite if we're beat as everyone has booked expensive flights for Saturday and if we're beat and Hearts win then it's a wasted journey. I'll not be going on sat if it turns out like that, don't care about losing the flights tbh as I got mine for about £70-£80 return but I know guys have paid a few hundred for theirs.

Motherwell a cert for Wednesday night now ffs
Myne's a half full glass thank you :)

I was a bit relieved to see Hatate come on for the last 15 or so minutes, not for the game itself  but that he hadn't been fully locked inside the squad's already packed solitary ward. But sure enough MON had him running around from player to player with Reo making closing down shapes instead of receiving the ball and helping the team to hold onto possession longer than one pass. Tomorrow v Motherwell I expect MON  to hold the line and start with Nygryn in midfield but kick the Milky Bar kid to the bench, perhaps start with Tounekte or Forrest and move Yang around as per needs. I really liked Yang's attitude and work rate  v Rangers, he has the makings of a Celt in him.

Yang has been pretty good this year. It feels like MON is shuffling a few lads he doesn't really have faith in as the 11th man. Tounekti seems to make an impression off the bench as does Jamesy. McCowan gave away the ball for the goal then committed the cardinal sin of throwing the arms up instead of chasing the ball he lost but he did make a clinker of a pass for the equaliser.

All that matters is getting a win tomorrow night. Tough, tough game and I am extremely uncomfortable with talk of Saturday before Saturday actually matters.

Think most Celtic men are v worried about tomorrow nite and it's all we're focusing on. I think we will beat them as MON is great at motivating them and with 2 games to go it shouldn't be too hard (to get motivated)...I'm going for a 1-3 win for Hoops tomorrow nite

Let's hope Stephen Welsh, if playing, has a howler.  ;D

Cant play against Celtic. His header against Rangers in the last few minutes was worth its weight in hold tho.

Ohhh, that's a pity.

Was reading there about Motherwell schooling us in the last game at Fir Park and that's all well and good, there's no lies there but this isn't the same Celtic team and manager. We've players back in form, we've momentum, we've a differnt manager and we've eveything at stake here. I just can't see the same outcome as before, MON will just not allow it.

The team kinda picks itself with the exception of one position and that's the left wing. I know this sounds nutts but id play saracchi on LHS with Tounekti to come off the bench but another way of looking at it is not to be experimenting at this stage with 2 games left.

Things going Hearts way coming upto HT.

GTP

Celtic playing like it is a friendly. Maeda sticks one in to make a game of it.

It was always going to be a gimme for Hearts tonight. Celtic need to buck up their ideas. Too pedestrian and zero urgency

AustinPowers

A draw at least would  take it to the final day.

As it stands,  a 3 goal win is needed on Sunday

GTP

You would not put any money on this Celtic team winning by 3 goals against anyone.

AustinPowers

Celtic now 2-1 ahead

If it stays like that,  any sort of Celtic win  will do on Sunday
