On the balance of play we're probably lucky to get a point, more awful decisions by Beaton on VAR,but again no one to take control in the middle of the park, Mc  Gregor and Engels were anonymous, and that hateful cnut Boyd with his digs in again, honestly can't see us winning the league, just not good enough!!

No investment in players.
Stadium run down.
No communication with fans.
Academy a joke.
Banned the GB.
AGM a pre-planned farce.
Appointment and keeping of Nancy when it was clear he was out of his depth a joke.
Using Martin O'Neill's legacy to take heat off the board.
Recruitment team a joke.
100% agree. Doesn't take away from a hopeless performance today though. Didn't string 3 passes together all day. Bringing Dane Murray and Anthony Ralston on says everything.

But this relates to board.

Ralston put on at left back and he has no left foot. Murray not good enough. Brought back Stephen Welsh from his loan from Motherwell.

I don't have much faith in Trusty and Scales in defence. Always prone to howlers. Kasper S done well today but is average also. All Mc Gregor does nowadays is point. Angels, who I thought initially, was going to be decent is bang average. £8m + not well spent.

It's Covid season all over again unfortunately.

O'Neill needs to knocking Nicholson's door tomorrow morning and say I need 4 quality signings or I'm off.

As I say, worst Celtic squad in a long, long time.

My take on it anyways...
Lucky to get a draw, squad is so threadbare it's scary. Maeda is pure crap and I would have him near the team tbh, his first touch is a tackle and unless it's a ball over the top you might as well play me. McGregor and Engels were terrible and got bossed. Trusty went from best game on Thursday nite to a bundle of nerves and looke rank and spooked, Scales is ok, doen't really let you down but is just ok.
Tounekti is pish and gave a goal away if not two from back post header and needless free kicks, pure shite. Johnny Kenny altough wasn't playing today needs a year or two on loan to develop. The new guy Cvancara was ok, set up the 2nd goal but thought he was average enough too. In saying that he will need another 3-4 games to get up to speed as he hasn't played in a long time so hard to judge him yet.

I don't think Maeda is crap at all. He scored a lot of goals last year. He has just downed tools and wants out. Can't really blame him either after the shit that has went out. Trusty would be in my crap category. He is so dodgy at times. Never know what mistake he is going to make.
Hearts were the better team today. I can't see Celtic getting a run together so I hope they win it ahead of Rangers. A clear sign for me was how they had literally no fear or respect for Celtic today and it's not usually like that for Celtic in the SPL. Rebuild needed from top to bottom.

Main Street

Maeda was motm v Bologna along with Trusty.

bennydorano

Maeda is known as Mr 10% in our house, in that he'll score 1 out of 10. Having said that I've never really seen him as a striker. He'd always be in my first 11

SaffronSports

Maeda isnt a great footballer but his energy and workrate made him a valuable contributor. Hes huffing atm though so now is just shite and lazy with it

Main Street

Maeda lazy?? He had a poor game yesterday but certainly wasn't huffing against Bologna in a role he plays best in. Was he not motm? or as good as.
