Jeeze, I actually agree with you, that's very true. It's also a disgrace that you have to have your children baptised to go to the local school and that they have to go through first communion and confirmation.

Your kids arent baptised and attending catholic schools? I know someone who tried to do that a couple ofyears ago and the child had to be baptised.

Down here in Mexico I know that they can't refuse non catholic but catholics get first choice even if they are from outside the area.
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.
