I am in the process of looking to pick up a second hand small 3 tonne digger, Obviously it would be cheaper up north so going to have a look in the coming weeks,

Where abouts are the main markets? locations and any website links would be appreciated.

Cant be given away at the minute. You missed the last EuroAuctions day in Dromore. Machines that would have been going for 12/13k this time two years ago where making 7/8k or taken away unsold.

Your best bet would be to ring plant hire companys round the newry area, plenty sitting about doing nothing.

Don't forget Bud if you need Quick Hitch, Rock Breaker Plumbing, Tilt & Rotate kits, Safety Valves, Height Restrictors or that type of thing and don't forget to test the oul turntable before you hand over the sheckels and make sure she is not on the HP.
