Poor enough final, high scoring but very error ridden.
Tipp feel asleep about 10 minutes before Waterford realised they could reel them in.
Some basic errors cost Waterford, especially in their full back line.

Latest score? Missing 2nd half.
Final score:
Tipp 4-14
Waterford 2-16
Tipp lead by 9 or 10 for a lot of the game and Waterford tacked on a few consolation points.

You have kilkenny out in front. I really think there is n't much between the next 5/6 teams.

Tipp playing for the full 70 minutes would be the best hope of putting it up to Kilkenny.
That looks unlikely though!

"without the player you have no GAA"

Seriously the ego's of county players need to be taken out of the game.

Yup, noticed that too.  Trying to make a point and doing it very badly.  Pathetic.

I wouldn't mind but the standard being churned out by most county teams is very average compared to a few years ago. The GPA and the players can go to hell if you ask me.

The more you give, the bigger the sense of entitlement!
In my experience at club level, players who take on roles in running teams are amazed at all the hard work that goes on the background.
Too many fellas are used to turning up before throw in and having all the pitches, equipment, gear laid on for them.

Well apart from anything else it wasnt the time or the place to try and justify greedy demands.  After bleating on about the munster championship and what it meant and then saying that he wanted tipp houses, shops etc decked out in flags he has the brass neck to say to assembled fans celebrating vicotry "without the players you have no GAA".

I would be disgusted if my county's captain said that under those circumstances.

Have any of these GPA members got a brain cell?

I like O'Mahony as a player but what a complete idiot. Usung his acceptance speech to come out with this dribble shows how these lads have really lost the run of themselves. If hadn't been playing today, somebody else would have done centre back.

GPA have scored anoother own goal.

That's exactly the point these balloons are missing - there will be no shortage of boys, untainted by the GPA, queueing up to play in the county teams. There will always be players therefore there will always be the GAA.
