Wasted many a lunch hour watching The Young Doctors when I should have been at lectures ... awesome late seventies fashions (747 lapels, kipper ties the size of Great Whites, sideburns the length of jumbo Mars bars) and a rocking pub with purple leather interior where all the medics used to congregate ... a show so bad it was pure brilliant

One of the greatest things about neighbours is that the characters are legends. If I talk to my nan about Harold or Karl she knows exactly who I'm talking about but if I start talking about some wotsit of H & A she has no idea what the bobbins I'm on about! Neihgoburs may not be raunchy but it's still a great show without having to resort to becoming tacky.
