26 for me.  Might be a few more. There were some names that sounded familiar, but I wasn't sure.

Only 10  would I know any  of their songs

Man, but the music  scene is shit

Think I'll give Glastonbury  a miss this  year..... Like every other year

Terrible attitude from the driver behind our main music group 😋

You're right, I apologise.  :-[

I  will go and add  Beabadoobee , Shaboozey and  Vieux Farka Touré  to the  to-do list

Didn't that last one used  to play for Arsenal?

Yes there's a lesser known third verse just for him 🤓

ONeill

I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Adding another one to my total.  Osees.  Didn't sus it because they changed their name from Thee Oh Sees from when I knew them.  I'd actually seen them live about 10 years ago.  Good live band.

Brendan

Was listening to BBC radio 1 announcing some of the artists performing at their big weekend in May and so many of them are 1 hit wonders, they've a fella performing who was also on the line up last year, on the back of 1 single, yet he hasn't released any song of note that I've heard since then

Norm-Peterson

I only have heard of 13 in that line up poster and I am under 40 years old. I would attend festivals only on a rare occasion if I wanted to see the headliner and would buy a day ticket. Festivals are usually a nuisance to get to as they are out in the country.
Last time I went to a metal festival I was shocked at the clothes women were wearing. One woman was wearing an outfit where you could see her full naked ass. These are the same type of women who complain about being "sexualised". I also seen a lot of obese women who felt it was appropriate to wear little shorts.

Blowitupref

Live coverage on BBC from this Friday night,  Neil Young for whatever reason has asked the BBC not to live stream is headline set on Saturday night so looks like Charli XCX will be shown instead.

The crowd attending this weekend is roughly same size as Cork City population and the festival is once again situated in a huge area.

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Main Street

Both Rod Stewart and Jon Fogerty are touching 80, Neil Young's a comparative spring chicken coming in at 79 y.o.

I've heard of the names of about 10 of the other acts but I've only (over)heard Kneecap's music. I'm well familiar with the music of Viex Farka Touré's legendary dad, Ali Farka Touré, would that count?

marty34

Is Kneecap on BBC?

Did they mde a decision on that after Starmer's interjection?  ???

Jeepers Creepers

Absolutely horrendous line up.

He is anti anything that compresses his sound he spent a ton of money on investigating what happens to sound when compressed from vinyl to cd to streaming.

No idea if that's the reason here, he's also a big advocate for live gigs being for those who turn up!

Milltown Row2

Looking forward to Rod and Alanis .. that's about that
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

f**k sake they must be due a fallow year if that's the best they have this year.

smort

Fallow year next year

Have had it on wfh this afternoon...Jalen Ngonda, CMAT, Inhaler...all decent performances.

But not much really catching my attention this year, don't think there is anyone on the Pyramid stage all weekend that I'd really want to see, maybe Biffy Clyro

Aye Biffy Clyro will be worth a go.
