Finished the Leftovers. Really enjoyed it. Definitely had a bang of the usual Lindelof "I've no idea where I'm going with this" but it worked for some reason, considerably more so than with Lost.

Loved it and slowed down my viewing on it as I didn't want it to end

Had been looking forward to These Sacred Vows on RTE.

Pure dung.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Saw it referred to as The Shite Lotus somewhere.

Betrayal on ITVx.  Not a bad wee 4 part series.  ITV do these well usually, and I found it entertaining enough.

Quote from: lurganblue on January 05, 2026, 11:35:48 AMStarted watching the Mr Mercedes series.  I wasnt long into it when I realised that I have read a slight spinoff book of King's called The Outsider, but there isnt much overlap really.

The series is sick and gruesome at times.  Worth a watch though.  I've series one done, and I see there are 2 more out.

Brendan Gleeson decent, if not stretched in the role I'd say.

Season 1 near done. Enjoyable.

Wuthering Heights with Tom Hardy 2009. A TV mini series.

Features his Dark Knight Rises co star Burn Gorman as Linton.

Have been watching Nathan Fielder's "The Rehearsal". Been intrigued by it for a while but it took a long time to convince herself to give it ago.

It is, without question, one of the strangest and most absurd and bizarre "comedies" I've ever seen. It's definitely funny. I think. I'm just not entirely sure why.

It's ingenious though.

Quote from: bennydorano on February 15, 2025, 10:08:38 AMUnforgotten S6 on ITV was probably one of the best yet, well worth a watch (or a whole series binge for newcomers).

Started watching Am I being unreasonable on BBC iplayer. Very funny in a dark way.

Dunno how I missed that season 6, I thought I had watched them all when you posted. Binged it this weekend, very good!

Late to the party but just been ploughing through Yellowstone. First 3 series were excellent. Season 4 was bit of a slog. Started season 5 and not overwhelmed. Does it get any better?

No. What you have posted is the general concensus.

Watching the Jackson trial on 4

Bonkers..

Won't say anything as I'm afraid it could turn into 55 pages of crap

Caught ep 1 recently.

Was never  sure if he was just a big simp , or  if he did  abuse those youngsters. The snippets of the Bashir interview  would point towards the latter , but  who knows.

Let the debate commence...... ;D

From anybody who has watched it, is the evidence against him strong or not?
