Watched the first episode of Westworld .. A scientific fiction western thriller .. Intriguing
Big names in it , Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris , James marsden, thandie Newton ..

Been seeing adverts for it for a while now. Looking forward to watching it.

Is it based on the original 1970's film? It starred Yul Brenner and the most wooden actor that ever appeared on film, Richard Benjamin.

Thought he was good in the Sunshine Boys.

It was worth 5 episodes, 6 at most and then it would have been excellent, then move on to another case in the 2nd series.
The longer it goes on after 6, considering  the evidence in hand and the choices of action, just exacerbates the ineptness of the psni to clusterfck proportions, possibly thee most inept police force ever.  And the  farcical  leaps of credibility in the plot/characters  in order to extend the series,  just destroys it.
I've  finished 8  1/2 episodes  and questioning my sanity about finishing the 9th.

Totally agree. There was no need for this third series with the same characters, totally implausible. I'm probably gonna continue watching but this series has been very poor.

Have started Magnifica 70, a Brazilian drama available on All 4 (Walter presents). 2 episodes in and it's very good, has some dynamite reviews.

Only one episode left of this and I'm not sure if it's brilliant or shit☺It's been enjoyable but it's hard to nail down. Think I'm missing subtle nuances of the Brazilian TV experience, very soap opera (y) / Kitschy at times, but maybe it's just bad acting and production values.

Still loving the opening tune.
