Not sure  that's  a good idea. Those lads must be in their  40's now.

35-ish, no?

The challenge is in how they'll make the 4 of them seem like realistic thirtysomething people without dwindling into a ruder version of Cold Feet.

I'm intrigued though. The consistency of the original series was outstanding; nobody has done puerile humour so consistently well before or since. It can't though surely follow that tone of comedy. Can they diversify?

James Buckley (Jay) at 38 is the only one under 40.

They haven't said anything about it being a new series featuring the 4 lads, just that it'll be back in one guise or another.

Ah I know that's their real life ages, but based on 2008 being the year we first met them as characters, then they'd their characters would be mid-30s now.

The Mitchell and Webb CH4 show is beyond bad, each skit worse than the last. Some let down given their earlier stuff.

10 mins of the first episode was enough for me. It obviously doesn't improve.

Louther

Task has turned into a really good watch. Last night's penultimate episode was really good. You can see things coming in it but gripping all the same. Good show after a slow first couple of episodes.

Watched it all and thought it largely pretty good. The aussie farmer soap was shite

That's exactly where I turned it off. The cursing Aussie was very lame.

Task has been good. Nothing beats HBO.

Jeepers Creepers

Just finished Black Rabbit and thoroughly enjoyed it despite Jude Law being in it. Heard good reports about Task so looking fwd to it.
