They must save a fortune on a scouting system as they just see who everyone else is in for and bid 5 or 10 mil more!!

SSN now saying Liverpool and Chelski are the front runners with bids between 15 and 20 mil

Would be crazy for Liverpool to bid anywhere near this and blow what little money we have on a position where we already have a good player

Sunderland could target Keane

Robbie Keane is believed to a target for Sunderland with manager Steve Bruce expected to make a £15 million bid for the Tottenham Hotspur striker.

A report in today's Irish Independent suggests that Spurs manager Harry Redknapp could be prepared to listen to offers for the Republic of Ireland's top scorer as he needs to sell to fund any summer transfers.

The Mackems have already expressed an interest in Keane's Spurs strike partner Darren Bent, but the acquisition of Keane would be a much more attractive offer to chairman Niall Quinn and the club's large Irish following.
