Drink plenty of water and take yourself prolonged toilet breaks.

Disaster--just do as little as possible and get straight to bed after work. Nothing worse.

Dying in an office is the worst possible I reckon. Wouldnt be so bad if I was out and about. Working in Dublin too to compound matters wish I was back home in sunny Magherafelt!

Things are never that bad Mike!

Casino Mike, no cure I'm afraid. A truly terrible day ahead of you........ the clock will be going backwards (or so it seems). If my experience is anything to go on something really important is going to crop unexpectedly later at work and finish you off.

Feel sorry for ya there Casino Mike nothing worse than working the day after a session no cure works for me anyway even though a friend of mine swears a brandy and port sorts him out, the very thought of having a drink after a session would be enough to make me sick, Hang in there

Earphones and loud music to keep you awake. Keep as busy as possible to take your mind off how sick you are feeling. No Coffee. Lots of water.

Get Salt(in form of bacon, salty food) and Sugar(sugary drinks, chocolate) into your system asap as you would be depleted in those in your blood.

Also take Panadol every 4 hours (but that should have been taken before you go to bed)

CM i say embrace the suffering.....ur dying make everyone around u aware of this. No1 has it harder than u and ur such a star for coming in instead of taking a sickie.

Refuse tablets or anything. Sweat it out as well. close all windows and doors and let the heat sweat it out of u!

If noone else knows you were out last night, sit there and be quiet, pull a sicky and go home,

I done it a couple of times, and noone was any the wiser

A rasher sambo (with philadelphia soft cheese if possible) washed down with lucozade sport is the best thing you can get into you. Loads of water obviously but I find when I'm dying that I get sick of drinking water.

On one occasion many years when I was living close to my place place of work I couldn't take it any more and told the lads I had a 2 hour telecon, so I lifted my lab book and slipped home to bed for a couple of hours before returning refreshed  ;)

That "place of work" is close to going bust Tony, no wonder with a boy like you in it.
