I just put together this player database:
http://www.gaainfo.com/allplayers_records.php?type=played&sport=f

Any feedback would be great.
Hope to add Christian names, clubs and years before 2001 in time

An Laoch

superb stuff, well done

ONeill

Who's the other S O'Neill on 28 appearances for Tyrone who scored heavily in 2006?
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

thanks for the sharp eye ONeill:
Stephen O'Neill has his appearances split between those two names - its because there are two apostrophies on the keyboard: ' and `
Its only 90% of the way there - I still have to merge the likes of this

(Its the same problem for all the O'Se and O Se and O`Se fellas from Kerry)

Some effort all the same to get these compiled. Well done.

bigfrank

Great effort!! bit confusing tho:P can u actually find out how many NFL games someone has played and championship,it seems to just give a total for both combined?? wat bout wat a player has scored for tyrone in his career???

An Laoch

As I already posted above, I think its great....but

There's a couple of linking errors and things like that across the site. Do you want them posted here, or your own sites message board?

Similar to the O'Se thing maybe, there's a bit of confusion with Paddy Bradley, Paul Bradley, Patsy Bradley and indeed P Bradley !

Micheal Meehan links to Ja Fallon

Ray Ronaghan doesnt link anywhere

I'm trying to help rather than criticize here by the way

Onlooker

Great stuff indeed.  Well done

David McKeown

The All Ireland finals in 2002 and 2003 seem to be missing from S McDonnell.  Again though some effort very impressive

Thanks for the comments fellas, I'll make these improvements (and others)

southderryman

great effort with that website, must have took some work.

again, not to criticise, just to help, was looking at the derry list. just wondering where you got you appearences sats from? i doubt paddy bradley has played 20 games less than fergal doherty in the same space of time considering fergal has missed quite a few games with injury and suspension.

Lads:
I have few bugs in it still. Give a week or two and it will be worth looking at.

Thanks for the positive feedback though.

Sandy Hill

Well done; a great bit of work! Go raibh maith agat.

I added the lists of top appearances in the Championship
http://www.gaainfo.com/allplayers_records.php?type=playedchamp&sport=f
and the league:
http://www.gaainfo.com/allplayers_records.php?type=playedleague&sport=f

While the top scorer for the last 9 years is the sharp shooter from Wexford (by some distance too)
http://www.gaainfo.com/allplayers_records.php?type=scored&sport=f

Its also interesting to see that Paul Finlay and Dessie Dolan rarely get goals

(I still havent fixed the problem with O'Neill/O Neill/ONeill being different players though)
Thanks again for the comments.

On the Sligo players when you click on Quinner it takes you to Georgie.
