is essien the most complete player in the world right now?

Not really, maybe if you have only been wathing the champions legue but some of his PL performances have been very ordinary since his comeback.

Big game player, definitely. Most complete player in the world? NO chance, that my friend is John O'Shea.

Great game to look forward to.

Barca missing Abidal and Alves - Sylvinho and Puyol to come in? They'll probably not be that weakened at the back. And Toure and Iniesta moving back into midfield, with Marquez and Henry returning, will definitely strengthen them.

Pity we'll be missing Fletcher, really need someone to run all night and not give Xavi and Iniesta a second to think.

Fletcher will be a big loss as this is the type of game we need him for, to break up the play of Xavi and Iniesta as you say. Best 2 sides in Europe so it should be a cracker! Had thought Chelsea would be better but Hiddink is a brilliant manager and would have set up Chelsea in such a way that would be very tough to break down. Barca will be very tough too though and have a few boys to return, should be a great game anyway!

Minder

Abidal is no miss as he was only playing tonight due to Puyols suspension. Alves will be missed.

Good versus Evil in the final now.

What was Barca's line up tonight and who played in what position?

Did Yaya drop into centre half? Making there defence Alves, Yaya, Pique, Abidal?

So Alves and Abidal out, what the feck will it be for the final?

????? Puyol, Pique, Silvinho

Puyol at RB and Yaya in the middle then. Busquets or Keita in midfield?

Best two sides in Europe by a country mile. The rest are playing catch up. Look forward to a feast of football in Rome. Have my ticket sorted. Cannot wait.  ;)

United will cream Barca in the final. Too many attacking threats, and a solid defence. Barcelona won't be able to handle them. I think it'll be comfortable. 3-1 or 3-0 United.
