The 'Guideline for the remainder of the season' sent out to clubs on September 18th stated that the Junior and Intermediate Championship finals are to be played on Sunday October 10th. The Junior winners play Monaghan opposition in Omagh on Sunday 17th in the Ulster club.

The draw for the Ulster championships is over on the Ulster Senior Football Club Championship thread.

kiddo what teams had Dromore an Carmen out today?
Went to the Carmen game today thinking they would play with style like the championship game but was really disappointed, really does seem like that champs game was a freak result.  Carmen seemed to have everyone bar Mcgurk at full back and Paul hughes, Dromore started without Fabian O'Neill along with the 6 or 7 boys that are missing from last years team.  Carmen looked good for a while but Dromore started playing inthe second half and really should have won by a lot more.  Gormley was taken to the cleaers by Barry Collins who seems to be back in better shape and big Garry dominated midfield, must have had a deal going with Oz as Oz kicked every ball in the second half straight at him.  A real hammer blow for Carmen who seemed to have no ideas in the second half and will have to imrpove big time to beat Omagh.  Still think they will do it though.  Snowy O'Neill made a late appearance for Dromore and if they get him in shape then they'll take a lot of stopping in the league.

6 or 7 boys from last years team. Who were they?
Dont really think it is a real hammer blow as the main thing was to come through this game with no injuries or suspensions. First half Carmen complety dominated possession but didnt create enough scoring oppurtunities. Ricey continously spoiled the play and did make a few swings! Overall before the game it was out of carmens own hands to qualify for the top 4.. Obviously Dromore were going to be fired up for this after the champ game. Penalty was the difference in the game. Dromore prob would be a good shout for the league now.

what happens if the junior final ends in a draw? would the replay be played midweek?

I could be wrong as I'm not a Dromore man but from what I can remember from the starting team yesterday they were missing Colm Donnelly, Kevin Donnelly, Shane McMahon, Conor O'Neill and then Fabian O'Neill and Snowy did not start.  Apparantly that 10 mins yesterday was the first Snowy played all year.  Hope yous beat Omagh by the way

Wee Roddy

As we enter the last week of September alot will be decided in Tyrone over the next month, starting with a bumper weekend next weekend.
From a Carmen perspective there is a bit of a defensive crisis going on at the minute with Colm McGurk, Paul Hughes, Micheal Slane and now Paul Daly all extremley doubtful. Slane played a part against Dromore at the weekend but could finish it with a recurring groin problem.
Any other teams got injury worries? Have Omagh suspensions been lifted, can Tiffy work the magic one more time?

Good man Roddy, At last the season is nearing an end.  Never before have I seen such an awful league competition, and a broken up championship.  Is this the future for Tyrone club football -  a disinteresting league competition and a fragmented championship?  The championship is finally going to hopefully take off this weekend and looking forward to a bit of drama - it certainly hasnt been that way this year.  Good luck to all involved.

Dunno if Tiffy can do it this time looks like fianna have all the aces!! But fingers crossed he can. From a selection point of view i'm not 100% up to date with the squad but from what i know (feel free to correct me) - there has only really been one injury concern of late and i've been told its cleared up so as far as i am aware kildress will select from a full squad! Good news for the underdogs!

Transferred to St Galls sometime last year and played corner back against Cargin at the weekend.

turns out killyman have never lost a championship final (5 in total). IFC - 1973, 2007, JFC - 1968, 1989, 2005. very much like Down before last week.

Aye but they are up against it this time.  Stewarstown will be hottest of favourites for this one.

They didn't have a chance against Moortown in the Intermediate Championship in 2007...
