Any match reports from Trillick and Stewartstown ??

Puckoon

Poor result for the St Endas boys, you cant afford to give a team like Dromore a head start like that.

This would have been a great year for the breakthrough. :-[

.no doubting ability but simply werent aggressive enough for dromore in the first half.

What do you mean by that? Being aggressive had feck all to do with it.

Both Dromore gaols came from sloppy defending. The McMahon bros were the only two on show in the first half and most of the second. Dromore dominated in defence throughout. Joey McMahon was moved to FF for the second half and Omagh launched high balls into him. It seemed to be paying off when Omaghkicked 3 points early on. Then the Omagh 14 went off injured and Omagh changed back to working the ball in ( I can't understand why as the high ball seemed to be working better for them). McCarron then got the better of Joey and the Dromore defence took charge. Omagh had no asnwer after that with McCullagh hitting 3 points from play before coming off. Shane McMahon was prob MOTM for Dromore.

Not a great game to watch. Dromore still need to and can improve. Ryan Porter being readily available for Dromore showed yesterday in comparison to the first match.

Nice touch Fintona - well done - hopefully others can follow suit.

Rois

Owen Roes started well in the first ten/fifteen minutes of each half but took some wrong options, particularly with distance kicks that went wide on all but one occasion.  Firing in the high ball was not working as the full fwd didn't really look like a ball winner in there.  As you say Norf, disappointing because some great work was done elsewhere around defence and if a few more scores had been put on the board during the earlier dominant periods, it could have been a different story.

Dromore were pretty nasty when Omagh fired over a couple of wides - glad to see the ticking for it.  Quite noticeable however that when Justin McMahon kicked wide, the same goading wasn't evident from Dromore's prime suspect.

Excellent work again Fintona.

Definately one that we left behind Rois. I thought the high ball worked to an extent tbh. Although MD wasn't winning too many clean, they were breaking in and off. With a bit more look it could've yielded returns. Especially when you consider that we rattled the crossbar with such an effort.

The full-back (Your dad disagrees!) I thought was pretty decent to be honest as the Roe's keeper was given a fairly quiet day at the office. Free taking was crucial too with Jamie Donnelly ending up with 0-8, and I think 0-5 of those were placed balls. Whereas we had an off day in the dead ball department.

The Croke Park dream is shelved for another year..........

Not my images lad, I'm well away from home at the moment! Another guy in our club has been taking some photos for the site and put them up himself...

Anyway, Dromore's knockout streak in Fintona continues...

I know that, but sure you are the architect.
