Hard to legislate for yesterdays conditions.Suited Coalisland better think Dominic could be available he was the last man to deliver the goods for Carmen.

It's not really, it is October and the chances of Wind and Rain is high. Suited Coalisland better as we set back and let them have the ball when we were playing with the wind.

Roger Keenan was the last man in 2005.

Did dom not do back to back with Carmen in 04,05 keenan might of been beat in final in 06.

Corrigan was in charge for 04 before going to take Sligo Seniors in 2005.
Keenan took charge in 2005 before taking up High Performance Manager role with SINI which stopped him from taking management role for the following season.
Chris Brown in charge in 2006.

Carmen enjoyed a Manager Merry-go-round in them days

Won an Ulster title with them too in 06, unprecedented times

Brown won a competitive Ulster league that year but got the road after losing a couple of league games. Corrigan was at the helm for most of the year in 06. I cant remember if Gavin was with him them days or not but he was certainly involved with some of them teams as well.

Brown was on a bonus to deliver an Ulster title in an era Carmen had notions of Ulster Club, he went hard after the Ulster league and then asked for the bonus lol, summarily dismissed

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story  ;D

Its high... its long... its over the bar  ;) ;)

Was dismissed abruptly after the Ulster league win, only relaying what I heard, don't shoot the messenger  ;)

Its a bit of a reach to call that an Ulster title. Carmen's best days were behind them by then but it always surprises me that they didn't push an Ulster club with some of the quality that went before. Its bound to sit sore that the neighbours over the hill achieved it with arguably a weaker side.

Weaker side let me hear your argument for that

Just an opinion not a fact. But the Errigal team that got to an Ulster final in 00 was not much better than the Carmen teams of 99 and 01...I actually think they were weaker yet nearly won Ulster. However I do believe that the 02 Errigal team was probably the greatest Tyrone club side in my memory.

Overall point is I never thought Carrickmore were going to land an Ulster, yet every year Errigal represented Tyrone you felt they had a chance. This is what makes no sense, as I said those teams from 99 - 01 were on par if not Carrickmore a wee touch stronger.

Fair enough assessment. Carmen were a serious outfit then

Errigal breezed through first two rounds, hopefully Coalisland give them a bit of a game. Could be going into a final / First round of Ulster cold.

tiempo

Ulster QF v Fermanagh winners, very concerned Errigal could be going into Ulster SF against Cross without a competitive game, but they usually beat Cross so should be OK

Hope to still be in with a shout after the first 10mins to be honest.  Last time we were 3/1 underdogs against them we did alright though  ;)

i can't believe these last two replies i read ^^

there's 4 teams left in the Tyrone championship, 4 strong teams with strong championship pedigree, also may i add; this is the Tyrone championship where absolutely anything can happen

of the 4 teams left, trillick won it only 2 years ago, coalisland 3. with errigal and dromore last winning it 9 and 10 years ago respectively

claiming errigal could be going into 1st round of Ulster "cold" when they still have to win 2 massive games that errigal of the last few years have lay down in. is absolutely scandalous

ii have a notion tiempos reply is a joke, so all is not lost, but the amount of people on this board who are thinking errigal are just going to bring a ulster club back to us as easy as can be - catch a grip

Point of order. It was the Ulster Semi final they could be cold going into.

For those that don't understand betting the poster here means if you put a tenner on Coalisland at 3/1, then you lose ten pounds.

Why oh why have the remaining league games not been fixed at this stage. People can't plan anything in advance. Zero manners.

You talk some muck. Only people talking errigal up is the ones who want them beat, so it looks like they thought they were going to win. I can tell you for a fact no one within errigal is looking beyond Sunday. Look at our recent championship outings in big games it's brutal. Trillick are favourites for championship and if you can't see that go educate yourself on tyrone football

The dates have been fixed, clubs were sent out calendar over a month ago. ACL Sunday 7th Nov, Intermediate and Senior Championship final 13th,14th Nov. Every Sun after that until 19th Dec has ACL game, Div 2 finish's the week before.

The calendar they sent is incorrect. They have penciled in more games than are actually left.

Errigal men fighting among themselves? Shades of '82.  :P

Tyrone11234

Errigal should be winning the championship every year with the amount of people living in their parish(es). Hear they're trying to get Carrickmore to join with them before the start of next year so they can have a thirds reserve team.
