Tyroneboi..........i dont know what match you were watching last night but the referree did let the game flow. He was very poor but reluctant to blow even the most obvious of fouls.

fair enough he didnt blow for some obvious fouls but anytime he stopped the game he took about 5 minutes to book players or just to give them a tick. at least we are both in agreement he was rubbish.

cant see cookstown troubling whoever they get in the semi. unless the posters who are suggesting they will be a tough opponent seen something else that i didnt see last night. the likes of coalisland or eriggal would have beaten that edendork team by half time last night.

Just back from the Castlewellan Sevens and feeling a little bit aggrieved as Moy were thrown out of the competition at the quarter-final stage.  Our game with Kilcoo was abandoned in the early stages after one off-the-ball assault too many on Colm Cavanagh.  Moy were leading at the time thanks to a superb goal from the aforementioned Cavanagh, so Kilcoo decided it would be in their best interests to provoke a free-for-all.  Rather than stand up and allow Colm Cavanagh take any more abuse, the Moy players got 'stuck in'.  Dungannon man Dessie Slater, who is certainly no friend of the Moy, quickly blew the match up prematurely and both teams exited the competition.

It was a pity that our involvement in this competition ended in the manner it did as we had won all four of our group games against St Peter's (Armagh), St John's (Antrim), Clonduff (Down) and Loughinisland (Down) to qualify for the last eight.  Even without Sean Cavanagh, we were unbeaten and looking good for a semi-final place against hosts Castlewellan until that dirty shower from Kilcoo spoiled the party.  Their red-headed defender, in particular, caused the row.  A number of Castlewellan supporters informed us immediately afterwards that Kilcoo have a track record for this kind of behaviour when getting beat.  Apparently, they are not the most popular club around county Down!

Unfortunately, with our own exit from the tournament, we didn't hang around for the remaining games.  Stewartstown lost to Castlewellan in the first of the quarter-finals and, as a result of Moy and Kilcoo being kicked out, the host club received a bye to the final.  Carrickmore also reached the quarters and they were playing Clonduff as we left the ground.  Thanks again to Kilcoo and Dessie Slater for spoiling what was an otherwise enjoyable day!

Like myself Ziggy is depressed. Moortown 2.14 to Greencastles 0.07 . Greencatle led 7 to 4 at half time. Think that Stephen Lawn scored a brillant goal.

Errigal 0.06 Donaghmore 1.06 @ HT.  Emmet McGinley sent off on the stroke of half time for striking. Great gola from Shane Mulgrew.

Tyrone ladies all square with Mayo at HT 1.05 each.

Heard a name but wont say, Just in case!

Muzz

Hope everything goes okay...

Typical Mooney - BBC were not so quick to mention win by Derry minors

Norf Tyrone

BBC teletext reporting that it's Paul Quinn of Tyrone fame. It's crazy- if it is a heart attack- that this is the 3rd high profile one in a week! Hope the Big Tyrone defender is ok..
Owen Roe O'Neills GAC, Leckpatrick, Tyrone

Tyrone Dreamer

Thats unreal, hope to god the lad is ok. Bit inappropriate to be naming the player in a case like this. Donaghmore might not get a better chance, but the result is put into perspective when something like this happens.
