I wonder how Killyclogher must feel playing Dromore without T Mc Cann possibly Dermy who were both injured with county, having put in a strong start to the league, they would surely have fancied their chances but now have to be outsiders because of the CCC digging their heels in[showing whos boss MICKEY]

Not great!

Well done to Teamtalk yet again tonight on their excellent coverage of the first championship game. And no doubt they'll be hard at their work the rest of this week, bringing coverage to Gaels far and near who cannot physically get to the games.
Hopefully, it won't be too long before Teamtalk TV gets off the ground for championship games as well as league games. Their coverage of the league games was incredible considering the resources that they have available to them compared to the like to RTE. SKY etc. I've no doubt that Teamtalk will continue to cover gaelic games in Tyrone and ensure that Tyrone are ahead of every other county in Ireland in the promotion of our games and in the same vein I would have no doubt that the powers that be on the county board etc will fully support them. At a time when the GAA in Croke Park are going to great lengths to tell us how important it is to provide coverage of our games to the diaspora, I would imagine that Tyrone who are one of the most progressive and forward thinking counties, will fully embrace what Teamtalk are doing and provide an outlet for Gaels at home and abroad to see games live on internet.

theres always a shock or 2 in the championship, all them games look easy to call,(Clonoe-errigal included, clonoe to win)the 2 games that might turn out differently are Omagh-Coalisland & Moy-Moortown. cant remember last time Omagh got an easy first round draw, anyone?but at the same time, they need to show up at some stage, underachieved for the last 4/5 years, dont think coalisland are as strong as they've been. If McNally is 100% fit, they'll win. played 10 mins against carmen last year and was brilliant, surprise he never made it for county.
Moy-moortown, think moortown have lost about 4/5 men to the states, not helping the cause. If cavanaghs perform moy will win, their defence is very vulneable though

always a surprise in champo football, these 2 are the only one i can see it happening in!

Expect Moy to win but Moortown look the best value out of all the teams.

Moy have had a decent start to the league season beating them teams in and around their level but 1/5 shots they are not.  Moortown pushed Errigal a long way in the league and maybe the last 5/10 minutes caught them lacking.  Moortown definitely look a value bet and I would expect Omagh to beat Coalisland by 3+

Richie Donnelly on fire for Trillick..

delgany

Watched trillick. V. St galls last summer in a challenge and they matched st galls for 50 mins or so . Richie was excellent..... Thought he would be a decent shout for tyrone senior team in midfield.... Strong ...mobile ....accurate kicker ! Just what were looking for !

Richie is a fantastic talent, I would like to see a bit more consistency before talk of breaking into the senior team. Tonight he was simply outstanding but what was he up against? Not very much. One way traffic. Trillick set down a marker like Derrylaughan that they won't be easy beat. I expect them to win the intermediate championship because of the quality and great balance between youth and experience.

Yeah, that ought to do it, the next time Tyrone are playing St Galls in a challenge match, they should play Richie. FFS would ever catch your self on.

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Will there be a list of fixtures up to the holiday break released now once this weekends championship ties are played?
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Funny indeed but not original. First reportedly told by the then legendary Tyrone manager Art McRory to former Moortown/Tyrone star JJ O Neill when JJ informed him that he hit 2.10 or something like that in the Rock tournament. Big Art told him that he would definitely start the next time Tyrone play in the Rock tournament.

On a more serious note, Richie Donnelly is not a bad player but would need to make step up shortly or will fall by the wayside and into the category of 'great minor, failed senior'.

Big statement from Clonoe tonight. You'd have to fancy them to go all the way again.
