It is amazing that Jerome McElroy is considered a good enough referee to be sent to referee a game like Moortown and Ardboe. His interpretation of the rules are different than everyone elses, and always has been.
Stephen McNamee refereed a tough game in Carrickmore yesterday and let the game go, adding to the entertainment. The players got on with it because they knew what to expect. Players respected him and he respected the players

Jerome mc Elroy was poor yesterday and also had the audacity to bring no officials with him .Does he not know these parish derbies are hard enough to ref with a ref and four umpires?it would have been his own fault had it spilled over into a field fight

To be fair Sludden was ref at our game yesterday and issued 3 blackcards all of which were deserved. I thought he had a great game and was very fair to both teams........i cant believe i actually said that

3 black cards I only heard about 1 black for clone corner back and one straight red for strabane player who were the other 2 black cards for. Heard he had a good game also which to be fair if sludden forgets about his own ego he is a top class ref in my opinion anyway.

Strabane brought on a sub, he was on about 2 minutes and jumped on a mans back and was black carded rightly straight away, and im sure another Strabane lad got a black follwed by a red.

Cheers, i was beginning to doubt myself even though i was there. Strabane surprised me yesterday, they were very sharp in both games, they look like a team who has played a lot of football in preseason.
