Radda bout yeee

Think moortown v derrylaughan should be the curtain raiser to rock v galbally in coalisland on sat ... It'll be a more interesting game!

Went to the second match on Friday night. It was entertaining even if the quality of the football was poor enough. Ardboe stopped playing when they went ahead and paid the price for it. Ref would have needed eyes in the back of his head and he could have sent off another couple. That's the first time I have seen either team this year and I would favour Dromore for the replay. McCullagh is still a class act and McMenamin is still a bollocks. Coney has improved an awful lot from the last time I seen him but is still a bit reluctant for the rough stuff.

Poor performance by the Galbally ref as Donaghmore reserves tumble out of the championship to goal in 4th minute added on.   ::)

ah come on, are you trying to tell us that galbally people dont go out of their way to be helpful to Donaghmore GFC, seems absurd  ;D ;D

I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

delighted with our win tonight considering we were 1-1 to 0-0 down after only a few minutes. can't believe the augher management kept cassidy in full forward for as long as they did. we missed a couple of goal chances early in the 2nd half that would have killed augher off but we let them back in it. augher though dropped the heads when their no.11 was sent off and they never scored after it. from where i was sitting in the stand the debated point looked a good point to me, but sure the game was up at that stage  ;D

thought the ardboe v dromore game was just an impossible game to referee. i thought cathal o'hagan tried his best in difficult circumstances.
well done clarshack, stewartstown finished the stronger to get over the line.
just out of interest, do you think it was a sending off?
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

no, thought the sending off was harsh enough.

didnt make any of the games this weekend, due to work and other comittments, only got to see the derry championship this week!
with both games draws, i think the  2 senior games should be at pomeroy double header. both senior games( the derry championship does senior game double-headers, so we can too!
only game this weekend is the moortown-derrylaughan, and il get to it hopefully, im thinking moortown to prevail by 2-3!
then maybe they could get ardboe in a semi!lol...

Wee Roddy

Carrickmore and Clonoe is on this weekend as well ::)

Cant imagine the entire double header being up to much. Galbally will do well to break down the rock who have an excellent defence and a midfield and forward unit who do their fair share of graft too. Galbally on paper have better team but nothing was ever won on paper. Has the potential to be very low scoring a a poor game for neutrals. The second game will prob be more open and so slightly more entertaining but the quality on show wont be too hectic either. Anyone who goes should watch out for young McLernon from Moortown, excellent player who along with PJ Quinn, IMO will be the difference in the teams!

Coalisland just wouldnt need to be depending on the gate to raise any big funds :)

From what I've heard on the ground here about the incident, the Drumquin teenager and the player from Brackaville were getting involved in some niggly stuff off the ball a few minutes beforehand, and whatever happened led to the Brackaville player grabbing his opponent around his groin area and pulled away. Drumquin lad fell straight down on the pitch in agony and there was significant blood flow nearly straight away. When they managed to get him to the sideline to be treated, the player saw what had happened to him - not to get into too much gory detail but a part of his genitalia was torn (which required the stitches in question in the reports) and through that and the pain, he fainted. He ended up going to the Erne Hospital for treatment. Whatever the Drumquin player did beforehand, the actions of the Brackaville player is something I would only expect from a sc**bag.

if this is right then that is sick
