Clonoe are a joke they havent competed since they won the O neill cup.  They are putting out non competitive teams wherever they play.  An absolute disgrace.  The leagues this year have been a total absolute farce, but the county champions will receive no favours next year the way they have conducted themselves.

Bar 3 teams, none of the rest will be able to do anything to sicken us. We have busted a gut all year long and with suspensions, injuries, flu's and players at uni in England we have no control over the availability of players. Now if the county board ensure the league was played at the right time of year, we would all be happy.

didnt cookstown relegate clonoe in 2006? clonoe now have a chance for revenge? if there's anything in the rahilly's they should put it in for this game.

we reledated ourselves. Pure rubbish. Also it was play off, with the winner staying up and the loser going down. Its not like Cookstoown were completely safe and decided to beat us just to put us down. It was play off. Nobody but ourselves to blame.

The leagues were very competitive until end of June -

Once teams were put out of the championship, those who were safe didn't really compete as the league was really between Dromore and Carrickmore, with Clonoe having a squeak - but Clonoe won the BIG prize this year and it was their perogative whether to go for the league or not.

Surely that should be understood - they've put in a big year and deserved their reward.

And very gracious of KYMI to say that Clonoe relegated themselves in the play off.

I know the leagues have degenerated into a farce whereby relagation issues are decided on teams either throwing points or not being competitive.

Tyrone won the minor and senior AI's and surely this must explain most of the reasons why we're still playing in November.

Eglish v Aghyaran
Cookstown v Clonoe

Thurs 27th 7.30pm

Looks like Donaghmore would be favorites to get relegated. Would be a massive upset considering their recent championship performances.

Id say Clonoe wont be too worried about what happened three seasons ago. They have had a fantasic season, deserved champions and probably feel hard done by about the lack of help they recieved in the ulster championship. i dont think they will be too worried about a play off to go into 1b a few seasons ago.

Donaghmore are a much, much better team than their league position indicates and but for a bad run of injuries, timing of the completion of the leagues, a bit of bad luck and the loss of Niall Mc Ginn to soccer would be in the top 6 teams - they had Clonoe on the rack for long periods of the game.

They have a big chance of beating Dromore on Sunday.

So it's not over till it's over.

All roads will lead to Kileeshill on Sunday 23rd November for the Tyrone final of Scór na nÓg.   Twenty four clubs will compete to claim eight county titles.  The standard at this underage level was extremely high with clubs having already achieved a great deal by getting to the final.  Competing clubs come from all parts of the county ranging from Aghyaran to Derrytresk.  There is a strong possibility that the winners on Sunday will go on to achieve Ulster success such is the standard in Tyrone.  The Coiste Cultur agus Teanga wish all competitor luck in the their finals and encourage everyone to come and enjoy a talent filled show which suits all the family.  The final starts at 3:00pm sharp and entrance price is only £5 while under 16s get free admission.

I think the odds could be very short -

Carrickmore v Errigal ??? Tomorrow night ? If Errigal beat Carmen, then Dromore win the league as they wouldn't need to beat Donaghmore ???

Have they not to play at least 2 games after or are those points given as well.

League structures for 2009 as they were explained to me.

3 Division structure remains. Up to 5 starred games without county men, depending on the success of Tyrone teams.

Division 1: Top 4 playoff for league title. Bottom team automatically relegated, Teams finishing 14 and 15 play in relegation playoff. Loser relegated, winners play Division 2 promotion playoff winners.

Division 2: League and Championship winners promoted. The next 4 teams in the league not promoted playoff e.g. 3 v 6 and 4 v 5. Winners of those games playoff and the subsequent winner plays Division 1 relegation winners. Bottom team automatically relegated, Teams finishing 14 and 15 play in relegation playoff. Loser relegated, winners play Division 3 promotion playoff winners.

Division 3: League and Championship winners promoted. The next 4 teams in the league not promoted playoff e.g. 3 v 6 and 4 v 5. Winners of those games playoff and the subsequent winner plays Division 2 relegation winners.
