heard that alright Ziggs from a neutral at the game. I hear your wing half back should have walked for a blatant strike from behind but instead the ref booked both players much to the dismay of the Stewartstown man with the Swollen Jaw! Only what i heard now !! I was'nt there !

True. No idea how the Stewartstown man got a yellow card for that. Then again, the ref ignored a lot of Stewartstown stuff too. He also awarded points that never were and vice-versa. However that was more the umpire's fault than the ref's.

the referee called a stewartstown point wide even though the greencastle umpire gave it as a point and then the ref gave greencastle a point which was wide even though the greencastle umpire called it wide. that was my take on it anyway! the greencastle no.7 was definitely a lucky boy for getting away with what he did. think it was caught on video too. thought a few of our players were going to get sent off for dissent near the end.

Ack now, you watching the same game as me? That's not how I remember it :P

Big Pack will have some job getting him off this one.

The same boy might have a bit more to worry about closer to home if the antics of yesterday evening are half as bad as alleged.

KIDDO 4

St PatsDunganon defeated  Omagh  this afternoon  in the Dalton cup semi final played at the Mid Ulster sports arenaCookstown.

KIDDO 4

Ryan McMenamin will be fit to line out for Tyrone in their Ulster SFC opener against Down after it was confirmed he only sustained bruised ribs in a club game at the weekend.

The All-Ireland winners was forced off at half time in Dromore's Division 1 league win over Killyman and there was a concern that he might have cracked a rib or sustained a hip injury.

However, the injury was later confirmed as just bruising to the ribs, which means the defender will be able to resume training with the county later in the week.

The reigning Ulster champions begin the defence of their title against Down on June 8 in Omagh.

Was tallking to a Killyman man this week and he says that Carmen will win the championship this year - They should know having been beat off it by both.   It ceratinly been an interesting start to the league.
The story so far
Carmen - have done everything asked off them and even a little bit more  ;)  -  i think they can make a championship final
Dromore - a model of consistency this year - making this era their own - could win the Ulsdter club if they can get past Carmen.
Coalisland - Poor enough start compared to last year - all must not be well in the camp - a hangover from their mauling in last years championship final
Clonoe - the surprise packet of 2008 - they will mount a serious challenge this year - worth a semi final perhaps
Errigal Ciaran - Errigal look to have a fine run of form going, can never be ruled out, and will be hoping young Quinn recovers from his illness as hes a class act.
Ardboe - seem to be ticking along - should be very competitive come championship.
Cookstown - will struggle to repeat lasty years heroics
Donaghmore  - they look to be struggling - too good to go down this year but suffering from the loss of Mc Ginn, and other retirements.
Aghyaran - always formidable and difficult to travel to
Galbally - Look to be really struggling after a big start
Omagh - a dark horse - these guys can play a bit
Kildress - these guys can mix it a little
Killyclogher - will probably save their best wine till the champiopnship - always an enigmatic league team.
Logughmacrory - gritty fine wee club sandwiched between two giant clubs - some very talented players.
Killyman -  out of their depth but to their credit they are improving with the experience, will go down
Eglish - struggling and out of their depth - will probably go down but a good experience for their young team.
Overall compared to last year the biggest riser is obviously Clonoe - the biggest faller Donaghmore with the championship form being the following
Prediction: Dromore
Potentai lfinalists: Carmen, Errigal Ciaran,
Next tier: Clonoe Coalisland, Killyclogher, Ardboe, Omagh
Next tier: Donaghmore, Aghyaran, Kildress, Cookstown, Galbally Loughmacrory
Final tier: Eglish Killyman
Any comments?
