Quote from: Hughie McMahon on October 18, 2025, 07:21:33 PMFew men on the board need to worry about mountfield soccer instead of the GAA. Drink, drugs and mountfield soccer. What a way to be boys! Away on the Monaghan town and give a load of bad manners up there instead of the board. Gym do some of yous no harm at that too.
Carrickmore men will have plenty of time to worry about mountfield while Loughmacrory prepare for the final

Quote from: Truthsayer on October 18, 2025, 09:03:03 AMWould agree on the adolescent content of some posts here. Slagging off teams who lost like schoolyard soccer fans and one above using a whole soccer analogy comparing a local club GAA team to Man United... ffs!
Was there last night and was hugely exciting game from two sets of players gave their all. I'm guessing the 13 year olds here have no idea the commitment needed to be a senior club player.
As for blaming the ref. He did well and I didn't hear one Carrickmore supporter on about the ref afterwards.
Loughmacrory deserved it and of course they celebrated reaching their first O'Neill Cup final.
Pure childishness here lately.

Paddy Hunter told us a few times that Carrickmore ones weren't happy with the referee. Ronan ONeill who has a good view on the game compared to Paddy seemed to allude to some of the decisions being made as questionable.
He let a lot go both sides, no harm better than blowing every minute. Overall I thought he did a good job. I was there and during a match is always both sets supporters shouting at the ref but def was no indication from supporters after that the ref influenced the result or was biased.
Paddy Hunter isn't great at calling out what's happening.. Ronan be astute enough. Surprised he had problem with the refereeing.

Wonder why they had to hold Wee Dan back from referee? Maybe he was just looking to give his hand a good shake!

Frustration I suppose. Practically all players and management went and shook hands with their opponents. You shuda went, was good aul craic.

No way they shook hands with their opponents.... Unbelievable stuff. Noble peace prize watch out!

I'm talking about the ref mucker!

I see the Dublin County final free to watch on TG4. They'd get some money if they charged the grass roots in Dublin for it.

Just really drives home the point that Tyrone County Board are a money hungry shower!

You know what I mean mucker!

I'm talking about all the players and management weren't bothered about the ref and in the time honoured tradition shook hands with each other. The screen must have shown something different... a ref controversy in the mind of you and Paddy Hunter ✨️🏐

dhá chos chlé

Fianna beat Moy by 2 in the end up, sort of game that the Fianna held control of majority of the game but to be fair to Moy they did squeak a few challenges in when it looked unlikely.

I imagine Fianna v pomeroy will be the Saturday next week? Probably in dungannon followed by Stewartsown

As the Vietnam vet said: "you weren't there mam, you weren't there... "

Clogher started the game really well and Drumragh never looked like they had the energy to get back into it.

Was talking to a former Eglish player during the week. He said that if you go through both teams and compare players goalie for goalie, corner back for corner back etc he said you would pick the Eglish man every time.

Sounds like there's no excuse then. Be hard to call but think Clonoe will win by 2 points

At least someone on this board knows what they're talking about. Really good Clonoe team in fairness. Think they'll do well in Ulster if they aren't drained from doing the double

tyrone08

That 2nd clonoe goal looked like the ball bounced out wide and game back into play, not sure how the umpire missed it

GAAtrojan

The Tyrone referees committee is a joke they must appoint referees who lick the most ass to do games. (sparky Loughran) is appointed the senior final he has been involved in multiple issues this year (Drumquin v aghayarn) Eglish Coalisland & ardboe if it was any other ref he would be struck off the list wtf.

Have to agree here, disastrous appointment. Whole of Ireland watched how badly he handled the melee with Fianna and Eglish, he has had a few horrors in the championship this year.

It's a nod to Errigal to still give them some county final involvement.

Awful appointment.
Living the dream!!!
