Could be the lowest scoring final to date..

games are off. maybe the weather is bad around Omagh? as I thought it would be much worse around these neck of the woods.

will have to be played mid week surely? to allow for possible replay with Ulster Preliminary in 2 weeks time.

Very windy in Omagh at minute but dry enough

tyroneStatto

Refixed for Friday evening, does that mean winner on the night?

Surely Trillick will concede to help Errigal prepare for their Ulster campaign?
Or maybe Errigal could rest a few lads?

If Richy Donnelly returns he prob needs to be starting.
Fullerton & McGarrity not impressive in the Championship at all for Carmen, probably due to the style of play adopted. T Murray and Munroe your most impressive performers

All for the convenience of MOR who has the Derry final next Sunday. It's surely not right to have a county final on a Friday night, it's not fair on amateur players and supporters.

The point about style of play not suiting Carmen forwards applies to almost every team in Tyrone. The club teams/tactical systems in Tyrone make it very difficult for forwards to shine.
Even teams with good forwards are reluctant to kick it to them in fear of losing it and not getting the ball back for a period. The vast majority of club coaches in Tyrone are of the anti-risk mentality.

Just found out the Derrylaughen chairman is a 25 year old. Surely one for the record books?

Agree that club football in Tyrone makes it hard for top forwards to shine. David Clifford would struggle. Farrago Canavan didn't score against Pomeroy & hasn't really got going.
McGarrity and Fullerton would shine in the new rules - won't be playing into a blanket defence etc. Reality is, come championship, they be man marked by the other teams best defenders as well as having to deal with a sweeper or two in front of them.

C. Munroe very reliable. T Murray very good this year.. wasn't given a proper chance by previous management.

The only forward that has played well this championship is Mark Bradley. Eoin McElholm too I suppose.

Will Conor Meyler play for Tyrone again? Hasn't kicked much ball in recent years. New rules might suit a runner like him if he's fit.

Peter Teague from Dromore surly will get another chance?

Conditions turned quite a bit earlier therefore the correct call was made to postpone the games. Do feel for the U-16 Final players though as they don't get to be part of County Final day with their game now fixed as a stand alone for Tuesday night.

I agree things weren't as bad as previously thought but Sludds made the call just to be safe so wont have a bad word said about him in the future, even if he keeps Gary Gormley on as a Ref in 2025

Great to see my team "Derrylaughan Kevin Garrys" pick up some silverware again brilliant championship campaign id say the hardest game this year has been Clogher, even in the league we only won by a single point, very impressed so hope they get out of that slurry pit of a division next year

Another brutally unfunny post. I'm sure mummy still thinks your her little comedian. FYI in a previous post you mentioned your team was Killyman?
