Jesus talk about total opposites, last friday night and last night,Carmen still trying to live up to the past,KC defence played well, difference in the end was MB,left and right, what carmen would do to have him, talk about youth coming through but still persist with penrose off the bench,Hurson steady game to be fair, and the pitch was grand, even with the rain yesterday

gaasharpshooter

From what we have seen of the championship so far we would have to say Dungannon,Derrylaughan and Killeeshil be hard stopped ? Although any team has really yet to set the championship to light !

Quote from: thebigfullforward on September 27, 2024, 09:41:43 AMSome shite on this board, but anyway. Who were the standouts yesterday? Don't think Carmen had much by the sounds of it. Was it a case of KC defending well or Carrickmore just lacking up front and if it's the case of lacking up front do they have much coming through next year in that area? They were unfortunate to lose Johnny Munroe as it looked like they struggled in the midfield against Dromore and KC. Don't think they'll be far away next year if injuries clear up
Carrickmore are going to be far away from winning it until Fullerton and McGarrity break out as top level club forwards, similar to what Emmett McNabb did for Dromore in 2021.

Better chance of there neighbours either side in lough and pomeroy winning an oneill cup in the next 10 years

That's if lough can hold onto young mcelholm, which going by the rumour mill he's a goner . Sad as he would have be a massive asset to Tyrone under orourke

Quote from: GaelTheGael on September 03, 2024, 11:37:54 AMIntermediate Championship Odds

Moortown 6/4
Greencastle 10/3
Derrylaughan 9/2
Gortin 6/1
Moy 6/1
Aghyaran 15/2
Owen Roes 14/1
Rock 16/1
Beragh 16/1
Kildress 25/1
Naomh Eoghan 25/1
Stewartstown 25/1
Fintona 40/1
Cookstown 40/1
Clogher 50/1
Drumragh 100/1

How has Greencastle found themselves with them odds. You'd hope of a few first round shocks this weekend 🤞
Realistically the Championship is between Moy, Moortown and Greencastle. Only teams with the ability to win 4 games and only teams who can hold their own in Division 1.

That doesnt't make any sense, if they were able to hold their own then those teams wouldn't be constantly yo-yoing between Division 1 and 2. teams like Ardboe, Donaghmore, and Omagh 'hold their own' in Division 1.

More so meant they have been promoted previously and stayed in Senior for a few years, meaning they were fit to hold their own. I would consider Ardboe, Donaghmore (who did a year in Intermediate) and Omagh "established" Division 1 teams.

Loughmacrory have more youth coming behind, they have another 3 Tyrone minors coming in 2025 and had 2 in 2024. They are going to continue to be a force in the coming years.

Like Jerome think you should refrain from the forum when under the influence, my team "KILLYMAN" have more chance of winning an Oneill Cup before Lough or Pomeroy

breakingball78

Since this championship is already wrapped up and Errigal charge into Ulster. I'll be first to make my 2025 championship predictions.

Senior - Galbally
Intermediate - Coalisland
Junior A - Drumragh
Junior B - Brocagh

There won't be a Junior A and Junior B Championship fyi. Two leagues, one championship.

Reports Collie holmes has been up taking killeeshil training, could be just the thing they need to get over the line. Hearing Matthew McCusker is close to a return to full fitness.

Seen Rurai Gormley looking sharp in a coffee shop in Omagh town. Is he eligible to play ? If so could make for an interesting battle.

In fact Killeshil are training in Eglish (Pairc Cormac)
Managed by an Eglish man (Lorcan O Mairtin)
Trained by an Eglish man (Colm Holmes)

McCusker in a sling on the TV for the Drumquin game doubt he will be back.

In fact Batman I will make a sizeable bet that neither McCusker or Gormley will feature tonight. If you are going to post stuff at least make it believable...

Carrickmore 2025. Heard it here first. Still very young. Looked good this year. Very capable group, even with 6 regular starters missing last night due to injury (4) and immigration (2). Management need backed. Only in 1 year. Improved from last year & will only get better.
