Yeah loughshore lad, we were down alot of players on sunday, 8 first team starters to be exact, there was players that started on sunday that have only trained two or three times in the last couple of months. The reserve managers had to play for the reserves as they had only eleven players. With a small pool of players the senior team sort of picks itself and even when we have two or three players out it has a big effect on the team. We were totally outplayed, no excuses. You's had a couple of younger players that impressed, that lad kyle coney looks to be the real deal.

It doesnt matter who the team is be it anyone from Errigal to Galbally if you are missing a number of first team players it is hard to compete, Ardboe were in exactly the same boat for a while earlier in the season and it really stretches the resources. Yes there were three minors on who all look like they may kick on and actually translate their potential into senior standard players. I have said on the board before Kyle has all the attributes to make it at the highest level provided he keeps the feet on the ground, he is only 17 and minor again next year so hopefully he will improve further.

No real change as far as I know, he still has to lie face down but I think that process is due to finish sometime this week so hopefully he will get some better news from here on in.

Wee Roddy

Unfortunatley i missed the Killyclogher vrs Carrickmore game the other night. Apparently Sean Quinn blew nothing and both teams just accepted it and kicked lumps out of other. But one thing i would be worried about is that you turn up to the next game, get the likes of Mickey Hughes who blows everything and then they wonder why players get aggrieved. I noticed in Hoganstand that someone asked when the last time was that Carmen conceeded a goal- well by my reckoning the last team to score a goal was Errigal Ciaran, 10 games ago. But there was 3 conceeded in the championship the game before it!

Fear ón Srath Bán has div 2 turned in to a two horse race with Moortown and Eglish??
Can anyone else catch them? Big gap starting to develop between top 6 and bottom 6 think its 5 points at the min!!

Urney reserves impressive win the other day in the championship VS Greencastle does this make them favourites for this competition? heard Strabane have C Friel available for it is he likely to play considering league games on sunday?

I'm going to ask this question again - when is under 21's going to start or will it start at all ? Maybe they'll scrap it due to time constraints.

Orangeman does Brian have to go to the specialist today again. Am starting to hear more positive vibes about his recovery which would be great for himself, his club and the county. Hope he makes it back he really has had to endure a rough time.

Wouldn't think so longball. It's two games between Moortown (and 3 from Eglish if they win their game in hand) and Greencastle, Strabane, Urney and Augher are right back in it. A tall order, but not an impossible one.

Don't think the bottom 3 can get back into the top 6.

Does anyone else feel the proposed promotion of the top 2 teams from division 2 into what will be division 1 next year is slightly flawed. I would be worried about the capability of who ever gets promoted to survive, I think they would go straight back down the following season.
