Shane Coney has retired, from 2011 final Clonoe have lost 5 starting Defenders only one left is Aidan Brady!! Along with Colm Donnelly and a few other panel members!! Some achievement to be in a County Final with that drop off level.... for a small club.. about 220 members

If Dungannon want to get more games they should invest in a new surface. Class atmosphere in O'Neill Park but it is a brutal surface. Probably up there with the worst ive played on in Tyrone and looked seriously poor again today. Carrickmore got a prunty pitch and it has brought the appeal of bringing games to Carrickmore to a new level. Similarly Dunmoyle would have a very good surface. Edendork and Healy are generally quite good. You just want to see the games played to their optimum and with better pitches better football will be played, not that it hindered Clonoe today who played some lovely stuff but there was a few occasions players bounced the ball and it took a ridiculous bounce of the sod. Otherwise parking and stewarding was first class.

Dungannon was the original heart of Tyrone football and needs investment, but for sheer atmosphere great stewarding there is no better ground in Tyrone. We have lost a lot by letting dungannon fall down the pecking order, a true oldschool Gaelic ground.

Forgot about colm Donnelly, he was a handy player. You's had a couple of good minor teams lately which seem to be coming through. What age is mcnulty at full forward?

Clonoe have a right spread of ages right through the team. I don't think any particular age group sticks out in their team.

What sticks out most about them is Mikey has all but ignored them. If those players had errigal shirts on their backs there would be 6-7 with county experience.

in all fairness 3/4 off Clonoe's top men have been asked and they never bothered!! General concensus they would not get a chance!!

The Beard

Great performance by clonoe today. was going to take that to beat defending champions who never got going. think a mixture of injuries, retirements and emigration took there toll. still played some great football this championship and be back next year.

clonoe very impressive. was impressed by them against omagh, eglish allowed them to open up. 2 mcnulty's, mcaliskey, lavery and quinn played well. ohagen usual rock solid performance aswell. stand out player was colly doris but. 5 or 6 clean catches in second half alone and very skillful on the ball aswell. never fail to be impressed by him. i know some people would question his temperament but otherwise great player. clonoe favourites for next week now but thatll not matter to carmen.

Yeah hasnt kicked a ball in over a year. Knee surgery at the end of last year.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

EC Unique

Not sure about Dungannon as a venue. Atmosphere and all is good but the pitch is very small compared to the likes of Omagh.
