When is the semi final Ziggy - the two Lawns are still playing very well - they kinda stood out last night -

Haven't heard when the semi final is yet. The two Lawns played well the two times Greencastle played them in the League.

It's hard to say - we beat Errigal well at the start of the season, ganme abandoned against Dromore, Beat Killlyclogher well, drew with Galbally, shoud have beat Omagh and then the wheels came off against Cookstown - played well against Carmen and Coalisland but got nothing out of them - so we were always there or thereabouts - we are better than our league position suggests.
Keenan was very professional but was just too professional. I think next year, we should appoint men from within the club. Mal Coyle would fit the bill ok. Players seem happy with current management team - everyone seems more relaxed. Hopefully we can continue to pick up points the rest of the season and get a decent league position to act as a springboard for next year.

I've heard that there is a Moortown player on the Tyrone Panel. Prehaps the game won't be drawn until after the Quarter-Final

PJ Quinn is on the panel and Mickey Harte took him back from Greece as defensive cover so he must really rate him.

Good that Ardboe were able to line out,  without any reserve finals to bother about

Good to see you are still posting incorrect information, the next time you post the Ardboe score make sure you try and get it right.

Can confirm that it was Mickey Ward in the Helicopter, think the club arranged someone from greencastle (I think, Ziggy anyone about there with a helicopter) to take him from the glentoran match. He made a difference although not outstanding, gave us a focal point on the FF line allowing Rodgers out to HF where he is most dangerous. Definately think that Rodgers showed his class and how he is not starting for tyrone minors beggers belief, Norf would you agree?

It is true that there's a family from Greencastle which own a helicopter. Was speaking to one of them yesterday and they said they were at the match, but had to leave early. Didn't say why, but I guess it would have been them that gave Mickey Ward a lift to Belfast.

Judging by the picture in today's Irish News, it was the helicopter from Greencastle ;)

You will all be delighted to learn that it's Championship season again. With that, I now have photos of Greencastle's game with Drumqin last Saturday, up now on the website.

Enjoy one and all :)

KIDDO

Dromore played 12=15 points , Ardboe 12played= 10 points   , Dromore seem to have got the points from the Ardboe league tie , but maybe myfigures are incorrect , how did Ardboedo in that ever so important  reserve final , maybe i missed the celebrations.

orangeman

Ok Kiddo you've made a  very good point there - you did not want to change the game cos you knew we had a reserve final the next day - so you decided not to accomodate us in any way knowing that you would get the points in the committee room - congratulations but remember Kiddo, some day you'll want a game changed and you might be met with no cooperation and then you'll appreciate the feeling. You seem to specialise in non cooperation and pick up easy points.
It's too bad if you need points that badly ! Surely we could have travelled and you could have given us a lesson in how to play !

Congratulations on your two points against us. Best of luck for the rest of the year !

Bt the way, what about John Kerlin ? Avoiding the question or do you just not want to talk about it ?

Thought I was still shouting as much about Greencastle this year as I was last. Guess everyone has just stopped listening ;)

Greencastle are now playing in Division 2 and are in position 6, out of 12 places. It's a very tight division. We are in the Semi-Final of the County's Intermediate Championship. Playing against Moortown, the favourites.

Ziggy - how many of your minors play for your seniors ?

ziggysego

Not sure off hand orangeman. At least 4 anyway, probably more.
