Despite the sideshow last night has anyone got a report on the actual game for us unfortunate souls who could not make it. Teams ,scorers etc.

The BBC have a great report on it:

Seven dismissed in Tyrone match

A second major investigation is under way in Tyrone after serious incidents marred the county's Senior Football League final on Friday night.

Violent scenes erupted immediately after the final whistle in Friday night's Division One league decider between Carrickmore and Errigal Ciaran.

Seven players were sent off in a game which finished level after extra-time, and will be replayed next weekend.

County stars Enda McGinley and Conor Gormley were among those dismissed.

Errigal Ciaran's McGinley was one of four players who received straight red cards from referee Martin Sludden as a direct result of a mass brawl which broke out at the end of normal time.

Gormley, who played for Carrickmore, was dismissed after picking up a second booking.

Disciplinary officials had already launched a probe into an incident at the end of the senior championship final between Dromore and Ardboe less than two weeks previously, when referee Sean Quinn was struck by a supporter.

Ciaran McLaughlin, chairman of the Tyrone Competitions Control Committee, said the clubs involved in the latest controversy, Errigal Ciaran and Carrickmore, will be severely dealt with.

"That one was a severe incident. We will deal with it, and we will deal with it severely," he said.

"When they see it for themselves, both clubs will know that they were culpable for the incident."

Glad they just managed to let the people know it finished a draw after extra time. Didnt even mention the actual score or any scorers. Surely if someone was there to report on the sendings off, they should have had a match report as well. Obviously not when the BBC are involved.

The tunnel at half time in the U16 match wasn't pretty according to our management.  Omagh stewards with bibs on throwing punches.  Did the same not happen in the minor final last year?

Anyone at the game willing to talk about football? Sounds like it was a cracker.

Correct. Kyle Coney got some rough treatment that day. Yet it was the Ardboe manager who got a touchline ban for the replay.

Correct story: both u16 teams were in the old changing rooms. senior teams in the new. at half time cookstown told to wait at the tunnel entrance by referee whilst omagh went through. they never listened. omagh no 15 jumped on from behind by 3 cookstown players between the new & old changing rooms. this led onto the old dressing rooms area. Stewards then called from the tunnel entrance to diffuse what was happening. Score at half time was 2-8 to 1-2 to Omagh. Start of second half omagh were out on pitch for 10 mins before cookstown came out. county board & ref who seen the tunnel incidents had to go in and get cookstown out.

these incidents are so easily avoided. the easy way unless the weather is so bad, both teams conduct their half time talks etc in 2 corners on the pitch.

congrats to the Wolfe tones - many good players and shouldn't have let themselves be n that predicament in the first place. hard luck to the malachys, great young team with potential probably a year too early for them to take the step up anyway.
First on the field and last to leave

Comfortable enough win for us today. The first goal killed the game off really. Number 13 for Moortown looked very dangerous, what age is he?

Good luck to Tyrone's representatives in the Ulter club - Dromore, Cookstown and Newtownstewart.

couple of the Cookstown lads struck by some of the Omagh stewarts. One of them black eye the other pinned against the wall. They had decided not to come out for the second half by all accounts.
This is not acceptable. No child should ever be hit by an adult. Couple of very upset parents in Ctown today and I happened to be talking to one of them.

Bump, just in case any of you haven't seen this, and you'd be tempted to go along for a good night in da Capital...

Folks,

The Tyrone Association Dublin are having their annual Gala Dinner on Saturday, November the 14th, in the Clontarf Castle Hotel in Dublin, if any of you would be interested.

It's a good night, the tickets are €100 each, but for that you'll get a great meal, all the (decent) vino you can sink, live music, and a few surprises here and there, plus the ladies will receive a pressie. There should be a cup or two present as well, with representatives, i.e. the Lory Meagher, Ladies' Ulster.

The guest of honour will be Des Mc Mahon, a native of Sixmilecross, the architect of Croke and ex-County player (late 1950s to mid 60s); and two (local) charities will be supported on the night (the Association will make no money from the proceeds on the night): Care for Cancer in Omagh, and the Lions Feather Project (for the prevention of suicide in Ireland) in Dungannon (Niamh Louise Foundation).

PM me (or Fuzzman) if you're interested, sláinte.

As you know, unfortunatly, I can't make it Fear. It's always a great night out!

Fear ón Srath Bán

Aye Zap, no worries, and thanks.

I'll text you copiously though, as the night (and the wine) wears on, so that you won't feel left out  :D
