I'm gonna lay it... Only one horse has done the double of Cheltenham and Punchestown...

Bookies are taking a hiding at Punchestown....some were struggling to pay out last night apparently .

They might get it back today though . Hard to fancy 543 or Forpady at the prices.

Chattin to a man who was workin there yesterday...he said the bookies were all writing cheques and he's never seen as many bookies get cleaned in the 1 day in his life!  Much tougher today no odds on shots as yet, fancy Fiveforthree at 6/4 in the 5.30, possibly doubled with Forpadydeplasterer in the 6.40 also at 6/4 but has tough opposition from the 11/4 2nd fav Tatenen.
The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes.

I fancy Garde Champetre and Fiveforthree today big time.

Should be a nice double!

Well I was there yesterday and I didn't relieve the bookies of too much  :-[

The amount of lamb dressed as mutton was unbelievable. Young wans dressed like auld tarts. S'funny when one can see how far down the back these wans can apply the fake bake.

It's not a pretty sight.

I'm long gone past "pulling"

As you can see from the picture I had to take it handy and sit down for quite a bit:

Come finishing time, the number of girls you see shivering and limping out the gate, often with heels in hand, can be quite amusing - I don't get it.
