He's not a political appointee, so I don't see how he could, absent some misconduct or incompetence charge, in which Fauci would be entitled to usual protections.

What would be the point anyway?

Trump can either act like a normal mature human being and help the transition, or he can further cement his historical reputation as a petulant, insecure narcissist by flailing around and throwing his toys out of the pram.

From what I recall, much of Trump's team was hopelessly unorganized and uninterested in working on the transition.

Whereas Obama's team were very grateful to GW Bush for his cooperation in 2008.

Harris has been impressive here will be interesting to see how Biden performs I'm sure it's been a long week and to be fair to him he's old as balls. It's back to civility and a bit of respect at the very least who knows what he will be able to accomplish legislatively but a steady hand is what's needed for the next 4 years!!
