Oh, you mean the Mueller investigation that resulted in 199 criminal charges, 37 indictments or guilty pleas, and 5 prison sentences. That hoax.

Yes-that one

While we're at it lets unleash a Mueller type open ended investigation of the Democrats and see what you find.  WhenHillary was interviewed by the FBI over the email server she wasn't even under oath. What did the FBI agent say again....."we don't want to go in loaded for bear, because we'll end up working for her"

Anyway.....sit tight. I heard Mr Durham has a world of hurt coming their way pretty soon

Would there be anything to be said for another Benghazi investigation, Ted?

I take it you know there's a significant difference between a congressional inquiry and a special counsel investigation?

Yeah. The congressional inquiries were completely unnecessary and nothing but pure political grandstanding.  The special counsel investigation by Mueller was absolutely necessary and resulted in indictments and prison sentences.

It's been a while since we had a bit of whatabout-Hillary-ism. Nice to see it again. Reminds me of a more innocent time.

They left out Hillary's emails, that would be off the charts.

Where does Trump rank for the GOP?

Party of all-time great presidents Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt.

Rolling in their graves.

not very high up  and still she lost to him and joe probably will too. The Democrats need to focus on their own party and find a few decent candidates closer to the center to run for president and not spend every minute of the day focusing on trump , it's not working time for a change of tactics.

They're going for Joe BECAUSE he's a centrist.

His problems lie elsewhere.

J70

I see that liberal Wisconsin judge won despite the antics of the GOP.

Been watching Trump's press conferences the last 2 weeks or so for some insight into how things are going there... there's no way the American people can be falling for the shit he's been pulling in these press conferences about how great they're doing and how he "shut it down" way earlier than everyone else.

He got properly rattled yesterday after his ridiculous campaign video and now is the time to hammer it home that he underplayed this and did nothing in February when he should have.

Biden's approvals are way better than Trump and nobody can see him. It might be his best bet to do a Boris and let the opposition dig their own grave while he sends out lackeys to talk for him!

Unfortunately for him, there is an extensive record of his statements freely available, including to people who can also put ads together. And the stories are also starting to come out about how much warning he was in fact getting about the threat early on. But he is constitutionally incapable of admitting to any mistake or less than stellar rating of his own performance. That is how insecure and childish he is.

As to whether enough people will fall for his nonsense again, time will tell. Never mind the coronavirus. The Dems have mountains of ammunition available to them for a multitude of negative ads, just from Trumps own statements and policies, never mind the sexual harrassment/assault allegations and the corruption and self-dealing. But, just watch: let's say an ad is put together about the abduction of babies from the arms of their crying mothers at the Mexican border - Trump will either simply deny he had anything to do with it, or he'll blame Obama or Biden for it. And his followers will swallow it up, especially as many of them have absolutely zero problem with the policy anyway as those desperate people are, in their minds, criminals first and human beings somewhere well down the list.

That said, all of the elections since Trump was elected would suggest that the Democratic base is going to be extremely motivated this year, not least last week in Wisconsin when the GOP there disgraced themselves with their cynicism and lust for power above all else.

And?

The NR piece is a hell of a lot less breathless than your triumphant posts on this.

It proves that The NY Times is nothing less than the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party and is on a par with Fox News and OAN
