Can we have a feature whereby, when you have people on ignore, you can't see their posts quoted in replies either?

It kinda defeats the purpose if you have to read their shite anyway, even when you've specifically asked for it to be blocked.

Well Clinton won as expected.

Amazingly enough outside of the NYC area Sanders won practically everything, including Clinton county

Whats the story there J70 its hardly just a White v "minority" thing is it? For example I seen that she won Westchester County by a country mile and it aint exactly diverse?

Foxcommander has an issue with Obama and Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and Black Lives Matter and affirmative action and so on and so forth.

But if he prefixes his stuff with "I'm not racist but..." then he's okay.

But then he's not renowned for his deep command of the details.

Just like the kenyan lad then. He turned out ok in your opinion.

Do we have to refer to all political figures by their families' country of origins? Trump could be the German/Scotch lad. Cruz could be the Canadian/Cuban lad.

Or is it just the black ones?

There was me thinking that they were all Americans. Not to birthers like you, Foxy, eh?
A right wing racist Shinner, who'd have thought it??

I was looking at Queens and Brooklyn returns. Bernie won in Astoria and Long Island City and Williamsburg and Bushwick and such places where hipsters and wealthier younger people congregate. He even won my own area. Hillary won in Jamaica and Bed Stuy and Jackson Heights where minorities and immigrants dominate. Trump cleaned up all over, albeit he came a distant third to those two in actual votes.

Bernie just seems to be weaker among minority voters. Westchester has plenty of minority areas, especially the towns fringing the Bronx, like Mt Vernon and Yonkers.

Typically you and your liberal mates pull out the race card to cover the failings of a president who's a complete bluffer.
Change indeed. And you fell for it, god love you.

Foxcommander,
what exactly is it that you think Mitt Romney would have improved about the United States (or the way of life for its own people, or indeed further afield) in the last 4 years, other than lower taxes for the those who make money through other means than labor?
thanks
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

I was looking at economic stats. The richest 1% of Americans own 42% of everything. Clinton and Trump are in That class.
6 Walton family members own more than the poorest 130 million Americans. It Is no Wonder the election Is chaotic.

Didnt realise that about Westchester, defo not the Westchester areas I'm familar with now

Anyway your right Sanders is like crack to the hipsters, tho as you say for whatever reason the poorer classes dont seem to go for him, poor whites go for Trump and poor "minorities" go for Hillary. In a way I can understand the Trump thing but cant understand why some many black people go for Clinton, I am presuming its just well rehearsed soundbites and targeting marketing.

I imagine its the same in California tho I know plenty of non whites (everyone is a minority in California) who speak like they are Sanders supporters tho almost all of them are educated and middle class so probably not a fair reflection.

I was wondering more how the "soccer Mum" types are leaning between Clinton and Sanders? And the "baby boomer liberals" you know the type.... well off divorced/widowed Jewish women. Any insight on those?

Sorry lad, I don't know too many nor do I have any wisdom to offer on divorced/widowed Jewish women!  ;D

As for Hillary and Bernie and demographics, it appears to be a consistent trend all over. Hillary has long standing support from black and Hispanic voters, partly going back to her husband. Whereas Bernie only very recently evolved in the national consciousness from being an obscure, quirky, odd socialist senator from Vermont.

Yes, the likes of the the BLM movement has issues with her, but when it comes down to it, they'll all fall in behind her when the alternative is Trump.

Trump and Cruz are unlikely to be president so it's not a valid point.

I was more speaking about the general demographic of White middle class Baby boomer democrats, they are a big slice of the pie, the Jewish women would just be a generalised demographic that would be like that.

Yes its funny how Sanders nailed the mood of a certain populace, much like Trump actually, would say they are both surprised by their success.

But I know a couple of people who swear blind that they will not vote for Hillary Clinton, like it will make any difference in California anyway  ::). But like yourself I think they will row in behind her regardless, they are caught up in the hysteria now of demonising her and will likewise get caught up in the demonising of Trump when the runoff campaign starts.
